The only thing is that when you drive into the place, you see a couple of rundown houses around which makes you skeptical, but once you reach the main building, its fine.

Hunder Heaven is a tiny place located between mountains and trees. They do not have many rooms, just a handful and thus easier to maintain. We were there from one evening until breakfast the next day, so cannot say much. The food was basic, homely and pretty much what you would expect from your mother, in short, it was a very pleasant stay. The owner was very open with us, he messaged us to say that Hunder does not have power at night. But it did not matter since we had power until we went to sleep, so not an issue. The view was lovely and the stream of water running through the place was an added premium.

The room was neat and clean. Food is also alright. They don't have good tie ups with taxi folks for better service rates, to customers, this is really important for a location like this. Hot water is not reliable, may not get sometimes. No bathrobe or anything as shown in pictures. Toiletries are not available.

As far as the electricity, the power did go out at 11:00pm, which they told us about in advance, but I guess I wasn't expecting the power to stay off well into the next day. It was unclear each day when the power would come back on, and in one case, it wasn't turned on until 5:00pm. We managed just fine, and it wasn't a huge deal, but I guess we were expecting a bit more consistency, that way we could plan ahead. Also, and this isn't necessarily a poor reflection on the accommodation, but more like a heads up for future guests- we had to leave a day early, due to circumstances out of our control, but we were unable to get a refund for the night we couldn't be there. Other than that, the wifi worked well when the power was on, and the staff, (when we could find them), were great.

This stay was really great. The room was very spacious and clean, and the staff even provided us with a desk, that way we could work while we were there.

Good place - & Mohan was very much welcoming - but to my surprise- the electricity was not there post 11 am till 6 … seems it is common in nubra valley - other property had solar backup - but this property were yet to set up … Post 11 - anyhow - we all gonna take rest - not a problem

The entrance to the location doesn’t look good and it’s not very clear where to access the guest house… But don’t be afraid by that, ho ahead and everything will change completely!

It was a very pleasant stay. Room was cozy and clean, there is a nice garden Where you can relax surrounded by flowers. Food is really good and the host very helpful. Free Wi-fi is available. Location is also good because it is next to the local market, a very nice place where you can enjoy live Music, local food and local artisans selling multiple things.

I liked everything about the property but I would suggest travellers to carry anti- allergy pills because of the cotton that falls from the Poplar trees

Good place, serene surroundings, there is a night market nearby where live music plays.. you can chill and enjoy .. the electricity is a problem but that is something which all properties in the area must be facing.

Location was a bit away from other camps but the room made up for it. It is a quite little place with friendly staff. The meals served were delicious and it's worth a stay if you around.

When we asked the owner to have dinner a bit earlier (5:30pm), he said that we needed to wait until 8pm or suggested we eat somewhere else

Nice ambiance with trees and a small stream, rooms were spacious and well maintained. Food quality was good, when we could get it.
