Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

IndiaThe steady stream of guests checking in and out of the hotel were well received by the front desk under the guidance and supervision of Ms.Prachi Thapa. She was humble and courteous in her interactions, showing care and concern for her guests. She was dedicated to her work and has a natural flair for guest interactions. The staff that managed the Waterside Cafe breakfast buffet were very dedicated and efficient in their services. They were all very courteous and interacted well with the guests. They served us very well. Hyatt offered a lavish buffet spread for breakfast, featuring Indian, American, Continental and Asian dishes. The rooms were clean and tidy, with the bed linen and towels changed regularly. The rooms were well maintained by the room attendant Dipankar and Upendar the floor in charge. The bell boys and concierge were most courteous and knowledgeable about most things of Kolkata. They were most helpful in assisting us with our local travel arrangements. We will definitely return to stay again in Hyatt Regency, Kolkata

ThailandAt check in the staff was insistent on requiring a passport for check in but our family was travelling using our ID cards as Bhutanese citizens are allowed to do so in India. Even after entering India using our ID cards, the hotel wouldn't allow us. When I requested them to show the policy, in writing or the government policy. They couldn't provide us with this. After a long day of travelling for nearly 15 hours, we were initially asked to stay at a different hotel, and while searching for another hotel. They must have verified the "policy" and eventually allowed us to fully check in.
The support staff were extremely helpful and professional, especially Suman.

United KingdomIt was pretty good throughout and kids had a great time at pool. Only a couple of disappointments of slow service and not enough food variety by the pool And when they got an extra bed for my child it was full of cobwebs. I asked to clean but they did not. Felt that the hidden areas are not as clean and hygienic as it should be like under the main bed where kids crawl to hide and play etc and staff care about only visible area cleaning.
