Clean, helpful staff, good location and easy walk to Golden Temple and felt safe

It was very difficult to find the hotel. Google map was able to find it exactly. The hotel is behind other buildings in the ally, Finally they had to send someone to escort us to the hotel. Which we appreciated. Breakfast wasn’t in time and the dining place was not clean at all, however the waitress was very friendly and brought us what we ordered and served very well..

The room was very nice, clean and temperature was excellent with Air conditioner. Staff were very friendly, respectful and helpful.

It was ok staing here. Close to the Golden temple. But it is not possible to see it from the windows. In fact, some windows look at the very close next building. Normal for the most building here. Advertisement was not helpful. Bed shirts, towels cold be cleaner. Credit cards are "not working" here. But above all I was very glad to have an air conditioner, a silent room. Nice breakfast on the roof restaurant. Front desk staff were polite and helpful.💜

Negative: It was very frustrating that the water was constantly cold, and it took repeated requests before the water was made warm again. Each time, we were told to let the tap run until the water turned warm. The first time, we gave up after wasting water for 15 minutes. The manager even admitted that they shut off the hot water centrally. We still don't understand the reasoning behind this. Another annoyance was the extreme chemical smell in the hallway. Apparently, they tried to clean the rooms with some substance to which I am allergic. We didn’t dare to open the door because of it. The toilet paper was used up after about five uses. Each time, we had to ask for a new roll. This was unnecessarily annoying. These are all minor issues, but they could easily be resolved with proper management. It’s a pity because, apart from these problems, we otherwise enjoyed our stay. In addition, the floor in the room was not properly wiped clean. The socks were dark after minutes.

The facilities of the room were quite good. Everything necessary was available. The staff did their best to solve our small problems.

It wasn’t value for money and overpriced. The room size was not that good, it was sophisticatedly small without any ventilation. There was no proper doormat.

The staff was very good and helpful. They provided me infant milk whenever I required without cost that was good. It was clean property.

Location. It is set within the heritage area so is so cramped with vehicle, people and shops There is no non-veg food within 5km of this place because of the respect to the values of the golden temple

Hotel Infa is a very well located property with easy access to Golden Temple, restaurants and shops. The hotel owner was very kind, concerned for our wellbeing and the staff were always attentive to our needs. The hotel is immaculately clean. Don’t be put off by its humble entrance, which belies its quality finishes and facilities.

The WIFI didn't work all the time, the restaurant was not very good. The first impact of the zone was not positive, it is chaotic, lots of garbage and noisy.

Phone was not working and ask at front desk for 3 times to fix it which never fixed so 4 times had to go down to ask for help . In the morning staff member was sleeping on sofa , had to call them many times to wake up and help for hot water ……

The access to the hotel was tough to find. We couldn't find any board or signage whatsoever. However, once inside, the hotel was pretty good . The rooms were small but comfortable. There were no windows in any room, but it was comfortably air-conditioned. The bed linen was a bit worn. The bath towels were really bad in condition. The TV was not functioning properly, the channels were not changing at all. Despite all this, the staff saved the day. They were extremely helpful and courteous, prompt in their response and service. They even helped in the car parking and getting luggage till there. Overall, the location was awesome, near to everything, , which made us ignore other small things.

I thought it was a little expensive, and the pillows were a bit bulky. (Not much to complain about in all honesty!)

Loved its location in the old town and resulting proximity to the bazaars, the Golden Temple and Jallianwallah Bagh. Staff were really helpful. I was initially dubious about an internal room on the ground floor, but later grateful for the fact it largely blocked out Amritsar’s ubiquitous traffic noise!

- the lift not working for 3 nights... but we were on the first floor luckily only short climb - shower not working for 3 nights ... happy to settle for a bucket for second and third nights - no hot water for 3 nights - absolutely stunned at the price of the laundry service!!

This was a pleasant enough stay ... the room was good value for the price ... large room and comfortable ... close to the museum ... Golden temple ... markets ... many restaurants ... parking across the road and lock up secure multi storey car park 100m from hotel. Owner committed to ensuring staff are customer focused Fridge in room is good is a bonus in this price range
