The food was okay, but I think they can do a bit better on their menu, otherwise we meals were average.

The stay at Jagat Niwas Palace was an experience we will never forget. We got an amazing upgrade for our room, and we’re extremely comfortable and had a great view of the lake. Every evening there were musicians playing music and dancers and the view from the rooftop was spectacular. Very close to the City Palace as well.

The Jagat Niwas Palace is fantastic, perfectly located at the Ghats, just a 5min walk from the city palace. The perfect Haveli to indulge yourself and fully enjoy the beautiness and adoptability of Udaipur.

It’s a hidden gem in Udaipur. We fell in love with everything. We were glad that we decided to spend our last night in Udaipir/India there. The ambience, food, staff, location and everything else exceeded our expectations.

Would be nice if the pool water looked clean. We did not dare to take a dip as the water was murky.

Lots of people seemed to be visiting just to take photos of themselves in the beautiful setting. These crowds were annoying at times.

If you arrive earlier than your check-in time and request an earlier check in time, it will be hard for the hotel staff to accommodate. Good thing is the hotel is walking distance to the main tourist attractions (except Saheliyon ki Bari). Once you’re in the hotel, you really have to push yourself to leave!

This hotel is a heritage haveli. It’s situated perfectly on Lake Pichola. The view is amazing and you feel transported back to the times when Rajas ruled over the land. The staff is amazing. Breakfast is accompanied by a santoor which has an old world sound that touches your soul and makes your morning chai even more palatable if that’s even possible! Make sure to go to the rooftop for an epic view of all the lights in the evening.

We didn't book a lake view room, and therefore we had a room that had a small window onto the corridor across from the breakfast/lunch restaurant and the room was somewhat dark and a bit noisy with the diners and then staff setting up for breakfast from around 6.20am. It wasn't awful, but I think we would book a lake facing room next time.

What a stunning location and beautiful hotel! The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, the restaurant was fabulous to the extent, we had all our meals there! Breakfast and lunch downstairs and each dinner up on the terrace with the incredible view of Lake Pichola. It was incredibly reasonable to take a private sunset trip on the lake and the driver was very informative.
