The best place to stay in rishikesh with best staff members like diksha and medha are great host. Food is really good and vibes the best thing one looks for while staying with strangers. Always recommend this place to others. Thankyou joeys hostel for a wonderful stay.

Very friendly, great place to meat people. The beds are in capsules and you get your privacy. The rooftop is amazing, with partys(that end early) on the weekend. And the location is great. Diksha at the reception is great and helpful!

The toilets sometimes are not that clean, but overall it's great.

Location is great, the staff is fantastic, kind, helpful, and willing. The hostel is affordable and worthwhile definitely.

I had a wonderful stay at Joey’s by the Ganges Hostel! The staff at the reception were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with any questions or arrangements. The place is kept very clean – the housekeeping team does an excellent job of maintaining the rooms and common areas so everything feels fresh and comfortable. And of course, the highlight is the stunning view of the Ganges – absolutely peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Highly recommend this hostel for anyone looking for a great stay with warm hospitality and a beautiful setting!

Dorms were actually good ac working fine and the cleaning was also good. View was good from the property.

Power backup was pathetically bad i have to roam on road as the power backup was very frequent i was not able to charge my phone even and the rooms was suffocating. The food was such a mess that even property having 5 orders i have ti wait for more than an hour for a simple breakfast and for dinner atleast 1 and half hour and after that the food comes overcook without cutlery and when asked for the cutlery it came after i finished the food in half an hour so not recommended at all to have food at the property. The staff was not even apologetic for the incident.

Writing a review while seated at the banks of the Ganga recently stayed at Joey's by the Ganges during my solo trip, and it was a wonderful experience. The property is right on the banks of the Ganga, offering beautiful views and serene vibes – perfect to soak in the spirit of Rishikesh. As a solo female traveler, I felt completely safe and comfortable here. The rooms are cozy, clean, and ensure a restful sleep. The atmosphere is vibrant yet peaceful – you can truly relax and feel at home. A special mention to the team: Medha at the café and Diksha at reception were extremely warm and helpful, always making sure I had everything I needed. Aman deserves appreciation for his ever-smiling presence and for making the place feel like home. They go the extra mile to take care of solo female travellers... The location is excellent – close to all major spots and surrounded by great eateries, so you’re never far from good food or activities. Overall, Joey’s by Ganges is not just a stay but an experience – safe, lively, and soulful. Everything was to enjoy....nothing to write

I liked the facilities.

There was noise (there was music being played at the reception)

The meal I had there was absolutely incredible! Every bite was bursting with freshness and flavor, making it an unforgettable experience.

The place is maintained very well. It's clean and hygienic. The view is absolutely beautiful, especially when it rains and the staff is very friendly. There is direct access to the Ganges, in case you want to take a dip or just soak your legs. It's definitely value for money, loved it.

Comfortable dorm beds with curtains.

The roof collapsed on me whilst I was reading. Evidently not much maintenance goes into the building.
