I was searching for property in Alappuzha with a swimming pool facility at an affordable rate. I felt really satisfied after getting this property at a cheap price, maybe because it was a weekday offer. The pool was very clean as well as the rooms. The garden outside was very pretty. The owner helped me booking a shikkara boat ride also at a very cheap price. Very satisfied with the property.

Johnson is a very nice and accomoding person. Smooth arrival, even if it was delayed by my train issues as Johnson was here to welcome me. Bedroom and bathroom were clean, provided towel and soap wish was very helpful to me. I really appreciated the autonomy to go and come back, especially for walks to the beach that is nearby. The swimming pool was a special bonus for me to conclude my long day of exploring the backwaters and enjoying the very welcoming city of Alleppey.

I’m a budget traveller and I was surprised to find a property at such a low rate with a swimming pool, friendly staff, homemade food and clean rooms. It’s close to the beach not far from the town either it’s a really good stay for the price. He also organised a day trip on a houseboat with me and some other guests for free.

Johnson's Homestay was a perfect base for our stay in Alleppey. The beds were very comfortable, the AC worked well, and the brand-new pool was a fantastic bonus. Johnson is one of the kindest hosts we've met—always ready to help with a smile and full of great local advice. He's also a really interesting person to chat with, full of great stories, and his lovely family made us feel right at home.

There’s honestly not much to complain about. Just be aware that since it’s an eco-friendly homestay, some amenities are kept simple — but that’s part of its charm....They are currently building a swimming pool, which will make the stay even more delightful in the future.

The property is very rich and in prime locality. The rooms are very spacious and well ventilated and could see rising sun from the windows and greenery around the room.The property is reportedly under face lift and elevation with added facilities of children park, swimming pool etc. Its really a cool and worthy stay.Hospitality of the owner is superb and he is very very co-operative and friendly. Johnson is very welcoming and kind host. He welcomed our family of 3 with a great cup of tea. He helped arrange the backwaters tour on the chikara boat. The location of the place is great. The beach is 10-15min walk away. Also, you can book the houseboat/chikara boat from 5min away by car.
