How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Inability to pay for the rooms in total on a credit card - this was not helped by the reception staff who didnt know how to solve the issue if you use Booking.com be aware that this hotel asks to be paid directly to their own bank account

Verified reviewThe location of the Hotel is a bit away from the city which makes it peaceful. The Road to the hotel seems a bit scary though, but once you reach it is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are nice a good in size, also comfortable beds. They could do better with the toileteries though. The staff is polite and courteous and are available for any needs you request for. The rooms are maintained and clean. But be careful with what you book and what price you pay. The stay is really good if you book the righ room with the right price. Breakfast was very good all days. Overall the food is really good here.
The details mention as private balcony with best views, unfortunately when we reached we only realised that its not the case. I booked a Excutive club suite which was way expensive than the normal club rooms and even the balcony was not private as the stairs to higher floors go through this balcony. Moreover the Dhauladhar view was better from the club rooms and even the balcony was private and way cheaper. We asked for change in room and refund or adjustment with meals as I had paid in full. Even if the hotel covered all meals with full board the club room would have worked cheaper. But the Hotel only gave us 3 dinner and no refunds. Was disappointed on that part. We asked to give us the Christmas eve package to cover the cost but were denied. Still we shifted to a club room as that was much better with privacy and view and compromised on the money. We lost almost 20000 INR extra for this.

Verified reviewView from our room was excellent. The stunning view of the mountains from the property was in itself a major reason for staying there. Staff was extremely friendly specially at the restaurant. Food served at the restaurant was excellent though a bit expensive. Enjoyed our stay there. Though expensive, a must stay place if you are looking at stunning views, and comfortable stay.

Dirty room on arrival. Even after cleaning the balcony had cigarette buds.. WC had was using so called stp untreated water with some chemical, this made toilet and room stinking. The toilet always seemed unflushed. ( worse part). They had no solution for the problem.unliveable. Locker and wifi never worked. Toiletries never replenished after request. Did not have shampoo. 2 tea bags was the limit.

Poor service especilally in the resturant. In buffet refills are late to come, variety is slim and food taste is questionable. Staff at hotel seem demotivated. Check in was not smooth and except the GM other staff at front desk lack PR skills. The hotel location is on a hill top so there are no alternate eating options available nearby. The hotel charges are overpriced for the standards they maintain.
