The coffee shop in the lobby were selling old and stale bakery items and when something fresh was ordered they were insisting on buying the ones available on shelf. We mistakenly left our laptop in the room which the hotel staff didnot inform us even after 9 hours of our checkout. When we called to check on the same, they confirmed after checking from the housekeeping about the same. I informed them about collecting the same next day and made two more calls to the front office next day informing the time when we will collect the same since we were driving down from a place 5 hours away from Chandigarh. Every time I made a call at the front office I had to narrate the whole story as the staff on duty was not aware about our laptop. Even when we reached to collect the laptop, the staff at the front office was not aware about our laptop.It seemed like no handing over notes to the staff who take over the new shift. The soap in the washroom on ground floor was empty and there was no housekeeping staff whom you could request to refill the same.

Dinner was great. Loved it. Great taste, great choice. I was expecting the same for breakfast, but it was ok. It may be better to have fewer items but to taste good. I found staff were very stressed and confused during breakfast.

The pool area could really do with some work. No staff there to take orders for food; also you cannot order alcohol poolside which is the first time I’ve encountered this anywhere in the world at a hotel! There is no vibe poolside, they have a gorgeous seating area just above the pool but no staff or furniture apart from one sofa. So much potential to make this area more lively and fun. Also would be great for more activities in the hotel such as a snooker table, ping pong table etc

Beautiful rooms, amazing staff! And we were lucky enough to have all the IPL cricket teams staying there whilst we were there - highlight for my family. The buffets are just incredible as was the food as Brewhouse. XO is very luxurious but disappointed at the minimal food options on the menu - a Chinese restaurant that doesn’t have kung pao chicken on the menu??

One of the bed lamps adjacent to the King Size bed was not functioning. We were there only for 2 nights so didn' bother to report to the front desk. But, i beleive there should be a thorough check of the rooms by the Support team before the guest check-in.

Great Deluxe Room. Nice Ambience. Excellent hospitality overall. In Room Dining service is exceptional with tasty food. Highly recommend this facility if you are in Chandigarh. You have accessibility to almost all prime locations within the city. The staff is very good. Nice restaurant.

Had to wait outside for a long time to get my car back whenever I went out. They do social gatherings, parties, receptions, and wedding parties at this hotel too, but the problem is that it becomes so noisy and crowdy that it feels you are somewhere in a playground where everyone is shouting. Problem is that these type of gatherings brings loads of crowd so in my opinion they should have another entrance just for this as it becomes hard to pass theough the entrance exit door. Secondly, they never gave me my receipt of the final bills that I paid when checked out. The room has a wooden floor, but there were a few big stains on them. It was expensive if you compare with the value of service given..

There was a loud thumping sound coming from the floor above - like someone was dancing. It was quite loud and continued on till 1 am which impacted our sleep. We called twice to report it but nothing was done. A bit annoyed with that.

Great location, very clean, good service overall. The beds were comfy and staff was very polite.

Poor bar only a brewery type of set up and quite limited in selection. I was double charged for my room at check out and had a lot of difficulty getting this sorted out

I had paid extra for an early check in, in order to get some much needed sleep after three flights, however I was awakened within 2-3 hours by a noisy jet wash hose outside my window (I assume someone was cleaning the building or windows), as such I couldn’t get back to sleep, which was very disappointing and frustrating. Update: Prompt contact from Ishvi Tandon (Assistant Front Office Manager) to apologise, offer refund of early check-in cost and assure me of an exceptional experience on my next stay at this hotel - Very good customer service 👏

The hotel was beautiful, supported by great staff, food and facilities.

No negative observations

The friendly and attentive staff was the highlight of my stay - right from the reception to housekeeping to the restaurants.... everyone made a concious effort to make me feel welcome and make my stay comfortable. I must make a special mention of the housekeeping staff, Subal, who left a handwritten note for me, inviting me to reach out in case I needed anything else to be taken care of. That was very thoughtful and sweet !

One thing is parking issues. It takes us half an hour to get our car from valley person. There is no proper arrangement of getting car and bringing cars, there is a big chaos. Everyone is waiting for their cars for about half an hour on Saturday night. This one thing is not good otherwise everything in property is perfect, likes this one in chandigarh the most.

Everything was good.

It’s in the heart of the city. Secondly the chicken Hakka noodles were so sumptuous and delicious. The taste I had 34 years ago and after that I didn’t find anywhere throughout India. It was the same authentic taste. Never ever lose this chef who made chicken Hakka noodles for us.
