Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

They, had changed my room(202 A) to a different one on the last day, this was done in my absence. Which I didn't like. They said that they changed my room due to some aircon issue ,which was not true at all. Because in reality there were some other guests who had occupied my room when I had returned in the evening . If there was really an issue with the Aircon why was it occupied by another guest when I arrived?? To my surprise my things were shifted to another room. This should not have been done. At least they could have requested me the previous day, which the staff didn't bother to. I hope booking .com would address this with the managers. In fact a few things about the room (203 B) that they had shifted me to had issues with the water: the water from the shower was having sediments and smelling like some tank had not been cleaned for a long time. The flush was leaking and had to keep the main valve shut, as water was getting wasted. Since it was my last day, I didn't complain as I left the next morning and was quite busy with work.
Cleanliness was well kept.the room that I had occupied for the first 4 days only was good. the place was convenient with parking.

Didn't get hot water for a day
The staffs were fantastic. You can't get this kinda customer service even at a 5 star hotel. Quick on response and happy to help. Almost everything was closeby. 24x7 you can get anything. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. We were, 4 adults and 2 kids. It was perfect for us.

While we were staying, suddenly the staff said I have to leave the room immediately and that was really so disappointing since in short time it was very difficult to find suitable room and move with family.
The location is excellent and nearby availability of restaurant and supermarket.

Warm/hot water is coming only after a long time= waste of water
Helpful and cooperative staff,especially Mr. Vijay. Nice fittings with a extra kitchen/living room with a fridge(used by two parties). Shops and restaurants very near. Also the less crowded beach is in a walkable 1,2km distance. Thank you for everything.

There was not hot water to shower, the water also was a little slow so we had to wait for the water then the next person can use the bathroom. It was a bit hard for elderly ones who needs water heater to shower.
The tiffin was amazing, the place we stayed was clean and comfortable also.

Some switches weren't working in the rooms. Also the rooms were a bit smelly.

It doesn't have a restaurant. This was the only thing which I disliked about this Hotel. Other than this everything was close to perfection.
The Location of the Hotel is very good. Being on the ECR road, It has very good access to the beaches of Chennai. Quite close to the IT Hub if Chennai and the Rajiv Gandhi IT Expressway. The Hotel and its facilities were superb. Very secured Parking, Clean Rooms and Washrooms, No disturbances.
