The approach road off the main road is a very difficult one. Our taxi driver could not negotiate the steep turns and had to take help from the resort driver. We had to walk up and down the steep road to get to our car every day. I wonder how senior citizens would manage in the absence of the run-down resort Maruti van in which we hitched a ride once. Water pressure in the shower area is a low. We noticed that the table on which we had dinner at night was not even cleaned in the morning. At 8:30 am the staff was cleaning the dining area in order to set it up for breakfast, a tad too late for early risers. For the prices which the resort is charging a bit of professionalism in running the property would be appreciated.

The staff was friendly and helpful. However, they checked us into a wrong property which was not even located within their premises. Luckily, they caught this mistake quickly and within a few minutes we were escorted to the correct room which we had booked. They had a nice bonfire going every night in the garden area which was open to all guests. Staff was kind enough to serve us breakfast in our room which was located right above the kitchen.

There was a lot of confusion about my payment. I had paid In full in Advance, which was confirmed when I arrived, but then I was phoned three times to ask about my payment and again when I checked out, leaving a very unpleasant sensation Even though the managers and staff were very polite. The room service staff were very polite and pleasant, however, many menu items were not available at lunchtime and ice was not available despite being advertised on the menu.

- Way overpriced for the amenities and location - Rooms are small, you can definitely avoid the duplex rooms - No AC and Ceiling fans in the property, gets really hot in Summers - WiFi in the locality is patchy and network is very poor, so plan accordingly

the approach from the road to the hotel is pretty steep, and a risky drive with multiple bends and twists. taking help of the local driver present at the property is a good option .

The Larisa Mussorie resort was very good location for nature loving peoples but no sign board was found on the road and there was big confusion when you take turn from Dehradune -Mussorie highway to resort that is approx 12 kms. Goggle map showed us short route but this route has many dangerous curve and steep height but another alternate route is available but you dont find it on Goggle map. One big board sign may be put at this place. From main road to reach Larisa Resort you need a expert driving skill or call the resort they will arrange the driver to reach the resort and park you car.

The food was very good in taste and service was also excellent. All the staff was polite and cooperative.

Hospitality was exemplary. Staff was very courteous & helpful. Location was a bit away from mainstream Mussoorie but we knew it beforehand. Book this property if you want to find peace & calm. Not for people expecting a buzzing feel. Special mention to the the manger of the property - Akshay. He is a great host and goes out of the way to engage with the tourists.

very less variety in buffet breakfast also we had dinner but food is just ok in taste.(not good not bad) location of the hotel is extremely odd its on a very narrow path, the road incline or decline angle is approximate at 70 degrees and taking your own car is an extreme nightmare, road is in pathetic condition, i let my wife n kids out of car 1km before the hotel road. rooms were clean but very small in size just ok for 2 not for family purpose at all, even the bed was making noise whenever we changed position while sleeping. overall the price they are asking is too much for overall facilities that is food,comfort and overall ambience. there are much better properties at this price point.
