The location is a bit odd .. you have to go uphill and downhill around 750m to reach the hotel amidst basti (slum) kind of location. This makes really difficult with luggage and with females.

Breakfast doesn’t have much option There would be either bread toast or puri sabzi

A TV would have been much more better

staff behaviour, homemade food, view from their terrace. Rooms were comfy and facilities in bathroom were far better than many hotels for a homestay

The owner was kind enough to guide us for the sight seeing places by arranging the taxi . The home food was really good. We felt at home. The view from the room was amazing. The room and the linen was clean. The homestay is about 5 minutes walking distance from the main road. Will surely revisit this place again if I get a second chance!

The food is overpriced considering the quality, and the complimentary breakfast is very poor. The entrance road to the homestay is in bad condition, making it difficult for elderly people to reach the property.

The rooms are good — very clean and spacious, with a clear view of Kanchenjunga from the triple bed room. However, the bedsheets need to be cleaner. Given the cold weather, better quality blankets are also required.

Rooms are extremely beautiful with breathe taking views. Stuffs are nice and helpful as well. The location is also good. Clean and fully equipped room and bathroom.

The distance from Stay to Darjeeling Mall is quite far. I booked this homestay taking in count the distance around 600 mtr from this stay to mall is purely misguide. Actual on road distance is more than 1.5 km. away.

Food is good, View is good, The distance from Homestay to Darjeeling Mall is quite far, near about more than 1.5 km. I booked this stay when saw the distance is around 600 mtr mentioned online from stay to mall which is totally wrong and misguide. However, the behavior of all staff, service, food, view of scenery are all quite good. But as per distance from the Mall to this stay, the fare should less. Others are fine.

Everything was as expected, no complaints.

The property is at stone throwing distance from main road to Darjeeling and nearby to the market. The rooms were very cozy, spacious and clean. The view of Kanchenjunga from the balcony is mesmerizing.

The location was best with the serene beauty of the city lights . We really enjoyed our stay at norbu homestay. It felt like home free from any interruptions or invasion of people. The host were good but we missed Manish as we were very eager to see him after reading all the feedbacks from various visitors regarding him. Will surely book a stay next time around again.

There's nothing we didn't like. They have left no room for complaints!

Everything about this homestay is perfect! The entire city of Darjeeling and the entire Kanchenjunga range is visible from literally EVERY ROOM in this property! The views, the position of the property and the rooms within, the decoration, the food, everything was perfect! I'm pretty sure that such a combination of views, cleanliness, attention to detail, food and service is a very, very difficult luxury to find in the entire city of Darjeeling! We had booked the Quadruple Room with Mountain View, and the view from the room was breathtaking! The rooms have been built in such a way that the entire city of Darjeeling and the entire Kanchenjunga range is visible right from the comfort of the bed - you won't even need to get up to go to the balcony or the terrace! But if you do decide to go to the balcony or the terrace, it's even better, providing a 270-degree view of the entire Darjeeling city, the Kanchenjunga range and all the surrounding mountains and valleys! The balconies and the terrace are beautifully decorated - they have cute chairs and tables and have been positioned very thoughtfully so that people can soak in the picturesque view of the entire city of Darjeeling and the majesty of the entire Kanchenjunga range in a single frame while having their meals. Coming to the room, it exceeded our expectations! The rooms were very aesthetic and meticulously planned to provide the best views possible from the big windows and balconies. They were spotlessly clean and very tastefully and beautifully decorated. The balconies had cute chairs and tables in them, so one can enjoy their morning tea or coffee while soaking in the sunlight, watching the city of Darjeeling come to life while also seeing the Kanchenjunga range change colours throughout the day. The food was also spot on - neither too spicy, nor too bland, and the quantity was more than sufficient!

The owner mr norbu dint behave well, his was of taking is rough .. there is very mediocre food quality ! Location is so far from the main tourist attraction which is mall areas they said it takes 15 minutes , it’s a lie ! The car took 15 minutes to reach ! The owner told us to switch of the balcony lights at night and that’s very irritating ! Service nothing we got !!
