The electrics were a bit unreliable.

Peter and Maria were very friendly and helpful hosts. To be greeted with home-made lemonade was lovely. The breakfasts, and Maria's glasses of tea, were excellent. It was pleasant to be able to sit outside our room in comfortable chairs, looking at the garden. Information about buses and onward rail travel was very helpful. The area nearby was an interesting taste of rural Kerala.

Room cleanliness could we better, host did mention getting labor was difficult so it was understandable.

Lovely location easy access to the sea. Breakfast was awesome. The host were very helpful with any queries we had.

The owners are super nice, they took care of us like we were family. Made us a nice breakfast with coffee, gave us waterbottle anytime we needed and gave me a spray for my nose when I was cold.

- Didn’t have a restaurant as such like other guesthouses (although we were served tasty food on NYE!) - Our room was without a lock, although we understand this was a temporary issue due to a previous guest taking the key

- True homestay feel, really lovely family that we enjoyed meeting and becoming friends with. We even joined their NYE party! - Great location close to a quiet beach - Organised a great houseboat tour

A Truly Wonderful Experience!" From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of the family! The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Lovely homestay with the friendliest couple of owners, Peter and Mariam (and their two daughters), who instantly make you feel like part of the family. Also, delicious food every day from Mariam! Five or ten minutes walk to a very quiet beach or ten minutes bus or tuk-tuk to beach bars at Marari. The town of Alleppey for the backwaters is easily reachable too.

That we had to move on in our travels. It is the type of homestay that you can stay for a while and absorb yourself into the local community.

Jiji and Mariamma were such wonderful hosts. They made us feel so welcome and helped us with travel plans and tours. Our breakfast and dinner 'feasts' were exceptional. I would recommend this homestay to those wanting to visit Alleppey, but without having to stay in the busyness of the city centre.

We have stayed in this place for 1 day. I went with a family of 7 members. Rooms & washrooms are neat and clean. Outside garden is very good and a lot of scope for photoshoot 😅 . The owners of the house stay are very generous and very helpful. Fully Recommended 👍

The owners of the house were great and very helpful. They made us feel like home. The house is sweet and will give you a homely vibe. It's near both the allapuzha beach and the jetty. We enjoyed our stay.

The internet was amazing... just not in the actual room, but outside it was super fast. So, no big deal.

So GOOD! This was the perfect property for our group of 6 people. Excellent location a short walk to the Main Marari Beach. Good facilitates at the property. The host JiJi was fantastic. Very attentive, and prepared us terrific traditional Kerala breakfasts. We also organised a backwaters boat tour through the accommodation, which was well worth it. Great vibes all round. Woohoo!

The rooms aren't big but the hospitality (from Jiji), ambience and the proximity to the beach at such low price makes me recommend this to anyone.

Location was a bit far from town.

The stay was quite comfortable. If you are a budget traveller I surely recommend Peterland..the host was very supportive and humble ..he was always there for whatever we needed right from the day we checked in to the day we left... He arranged for scooty and shikara rides for us... The food was really delicious thanks to The host and his wife .. and would suggest if you are coming to Kerala do enjoy his stay and food at home instead of having it outside as you won't have enough options outside and town is little far and he provides fresh food at less cost
