Firstly, please note that the parking area is located 1.5 kms away from the resort. From there, guests are transported to the resort in a jeep. This 20–25 minute uphill ride through the lush greenery of the 100-acre coffee estate is nothing short of an adventure in itself! A special mention to Thomas Sir (Driver) — your driving skills are truly commendable. Hats off to your professionalism and respect! The food, though from a limited menu, was satisfying and consistently well-prepared. We had almost all our meals at the property — breakfasts and dinners — and were happy with the quality and taste. Kudos to Chef Manas, and the entire kitchen team for a job well done! The housekeeping staff deserves a big thank you. Your dedication, attentiveness, and warmth made our stay very comfortable. The Avadale resorts are located at the beautiful hilltop. The ambience was awesome, food was delicious and staff behaviour was very polite. My Special thanks to Mr. Sunil (property manager) and Thomas Sir for making our trip a wonderful experience. We look forward to visiting again.

For the summer this year, we decided to "resort hop" and this is the third resort we visited. I would say that we got our best experience here. The caretaker Mr Sunil Varghese was very responsive from the beginning. We had to park our car in their parking lot and take their jeep to reach the property. It was a wild ride and the kids enjoyed it. After reaching the resort, we refreshed ourselves and had a modest, yet tasty buffet lunch. We roamed around the property, had a bath in the swimming pool, and played on their indoor and outdoor facilities. We again had a sumptuous buffet in the night and called it a day. The next day, we went hiking in the wilderness. A complimentary breakfast was waiting for us when we got back. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with everyone in the property more than willing to help. I would definitely recommend this resort to everyone. Go for it!!

I really liked the location, quite secluded and private - something what i was looking for. Manager Sunil was a great help around. A couple of things to improve - Room hygiene and toilet accessories.

Swimming pool should have had a heater as climate is always cold. More recreational activities such as spa, outdoor games etc to be included within the resort as its a bit away from town. Slippers could have ben provided.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! The treehouse experience was truly unique and memorable, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful ambiance. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with opportunities for trekking right within the premises, which added a sense of adventure to our stay. A special mention to Manager Sunil and the staff, who were extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to help, making our visit even more comfortable. The property offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. We took the breakfast and dinner, the food was good, but I would suggest adding some fresh fruits for the breakfast.

The houses are big and inside feels comfortable. The place is perfect for spending time inside the nature, calm and relaxing.

It's no problem, but be prepared for an uphill off road transfer from car park to the resort. A jeep transfer can be provided when you need to ascend or descend to the town. You will get better views of the plantation as you travel. Everyone says though, it's worth it!

The location is stunning. The views are very pretty. Very calm and tranquil. The staff are very gracious and helpful. The grounds and lodge was super clean and very tastefully made and furnished. All set in a coffee and black pepper plantation. A great place to really relax. I will be sad to leave. One of my favourite places we have visited whilst in Southern India.

I would not recommend this property to anyone looking to explore wayanad as it is located at a secluded place and going up and down is a big issue. I would suggest some other stays at kalpetta if you are looking to explore wayanad and are not looking for a peaceful getaway.

The property is situated at a secluded place and we need to use a jeep to go up. It is a really good place for a perfect getaway. The rooms and property are really good. Staff (sunil, ravi, thomas, etc) are too good. Food was decent.

It is better to keep your travel To & From the resort at the minimum. The last 2 km has to be done in Jeep only and it take 20-25 minutes ( you cannot take your car) so you would not want to go out or come into the resort more than once or twice per day. Because this 2km becomes an overhead. If you are aware of this fact, then you will enjoy the trip. It is not as simple as just travelling as and when you want. You have to plan your day correctly to adjust to this overhead.

Great place it stay. It is on top of a hill. Service is amazing with very cheerful staff. Clean rooms. Awesome view of the surroundings. The jeep trek (2 km) on the hill looks risky at first but it is very interesting. It takes about 20-25 minutes for those 2 km. But you will love it if you like adventure.

The place has high costs per night, perhaps a special activity or adventure could help justify that, or a bit more room inclusions like other competing properties in kerala, i am sure avadale team could come up with interesting inclusions given their experience into hospitality!

Staff and location are outstanding, kudos to managers and all the restaurant and support staff, they have managed to keep the place in a really good shape and catering to guests despite being quite remote, terrain is difficult to reach but the drivers managed to go as smooth as possible in jeeps. Couple of previous reviews have been heard and I see improvements recommended by travellers which is a great attitude to progress. Keep it up!

Location was great, away from commercialisation, into the woods and greens. Food was amazing- all the meals. Staff is very co operative and caring. Ravi ji at the reception, always there to help with everything. Thomas and Ranjit, jeep drivers, taking us to and fro from the resort, lovely guys!

The only concern is the off-road journey to the resort. It is fine for those who are healthy but to my parents the trip caused body pain. But to those who love off-road adventures it is a great choice.

Great service and all amenities are premium. The wooden cottages add to the ambience and we felt comfortable and at ease.

I recently stayed at Avadale Wayanad Resort, and it was an unforgettable experience! The swimming pool was fantastic, and the food was simply awesome—definitely a highlight of our stay.
