Bathroom toiletries are non in dorms. A suggestion for Toilet Paper/towels etc on rent has been given and they promise they will think about it.

Prime location right at the mg marg, VFM, Clean dorms, good, polite, friendly and helping staff. Beautiful terrace as a common room. Very comfortable beds.

The flushes in the washroom and shower heads do not work with full efficiency. Basic cleanliness needs to be worked upon (Eg. Changing of sheets, Washroom floors, kitchen counter, refilling the dishwashing soap, replacing a new scrubber)

This has been one of the best backpacker hostels I have stayed in from past 6 years of travelling solo. I had booked the place for 3 nights but had to extend my stay for 3 more. The location is perfect, but what makes Mellow Fellow a happening place is its common area. Sonam gathers everyone and makes sure they have a memorable trip very effortlessly. He is by far the most genuine hosts I have come across. Samit is fun and exchanges a warm smile everytime you run into him. Annie and the entire team of this hostel, run the place with utmost passion and professionalism. Would highly recommend staying here.

A little bit of repair and renovation of the Common Area, its adjacent Common bathroom and kitchen would be great. Apart from that all 👍🏼.

The atmosphere at Mellow Fellow as always was brilliant. All the staff there make the place feel friendly, warm and cozy. Special Shout-out to Sonam for being such a good host, suggesting us all the right things to do, showing us around, taking us on walking tour and what not to make our stay at Gangtok memorable 😀. So kudos buddy. Also to mention, the rooms are well maitained, clean and so are the bathrooms both the dorms and the private rooms.

The hostel is located almost at the centre of M G Mard. It's a no-frills, budget friendly hostel. Two bunk beds in one room, accommodating 4 people with 1 shared toilet.

Window Curtains could be bettered with double sheer plus and layer. Sign signboard of Mellow Fellow wasn't visible from the main street as the other signboard is hiding.

Situated in the middle of MG road. very good Location. easy access to all the shopping and eatery places on MG Road. The staff is very helpful. good ambiance, well-designed lobbies with lovely paintings. good-sized rooms with attached washrooms. rooms overlooking MG Road. busy street.

Washroom facilities a big thumbs down. If not toiletries, atleast a toilet roll should be provided (which they said they don't give), considering they had major water supply issues (no water for hours!) And the other bathrooms which we could use in the meanwhile were dirty :/

I loved the ambience and central-ish location. The dorms (not the washrooms) were also clean. Got to meet Karma (owner), had a wonderful interaction with him. Fully support his biking company.

Water facility is the worst part, sometimes they don't even provide water in the dormitories and they ask us to go to private room for even basic needs in toilet, otherwise staff and owners behavior is really good, I'd give it a 5/5 if they have water facilities on point. But all frequent travellers to this hostel said they always have water issues... So a traveller must keep in mind of that...

Towels were provided to some people but no available for all. All the lockers did not had the keys. The price was a bit too high considering the fact it's a hostel and not a room.
