Guys, you need to work on your air conditioning, especially in the Reception and Lobby. Travellers do not want to wait in a hot environment and even the fans were switched off during afternoon (reception and lobby)

There are no en-suite dorms which I was aware of before booking so it wasn’t a major issue — but having that option would have been nice. Also the room got quite hot during the night to the point where it felt a bit uncomfortable for a while.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Even after I checked out, I stayed around to work on my laptop and they made me feel completely at ease. The location is also fantastic, just a short walk to White Town.

Showers in the women‘s section on 2nd floor didn’t work and no sign was put up even though they knew about it, so people kept on jumping naked from one shower to the next; could’ve been managed better. Also, no comfy place to hang out really. Rooftop chairs were uncomfortable and littered with bird poo and staff was using bench in front of reception

It was my first time as a solo traveller. I always wanted to stay in a hostel but had my inhibitions. But,after staying in micasa,I just fell in love with them. So,hygienic,comfortable and to top it all the staff was so amicable and comfortable(especially Mr Amit and Saurabh) They made my stay memorable. I would suggest this to everyone. Just loved it. The Laundry price should be as per Kilos and therefore can be convenient for all. Right now the laundry price logic is not convenient for guests.।

The staff Anand and others were amazingly helpful and very well behaved and spoken. The place is central and nearby to all attractions around. Clean and equipped with a kitchen for common use with Fridge, Microwaves, Toaster, Electric heater etc!

Great location. Amicable staff members. The check-in time is a bit late, but they keep the hostel very clean. I would 100% recommend it if you are a group of friends visiting Pondy and want to stay in the French colony.

Great stay in this hostel! Possible to rent bicycle for 150 roupies and go around (10km from Auroville) if you feel like.

The location of the property is very close (walkable distance) to all the cafés and the beach. The property is very clean and has a great terrace too. The staff especially Sourab and Anand were of great help, very accommodating too. This was my first time solo travelling and I am glad I booked this place.

The stay was nice and clean, the staff was very helpful. Facilities were good. The staff will also help you with selection of activities and how you can make the most of your time there. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are a solo traveller or a group of friends.

There is no breakfast but no needed, so many nice quaint cafes in Pondicherry!

The team of the hostel is TOP. They were very helpful, I forgot my earbuds inside a cab and they help with the translation and even went to pick it up for me. Sandeep and Sam were super kind and attentive, they can also share a honest driver's contact to come from Chennai and good tips for touring around the city. The rooms are good and clean, beds are comfortable and ther eis AC in all the rooms (and a duvet in case you are cold). The bathroom is cleaned daily and the female area is separated, which makes you feel super safe. There is a common kitchen, with a fridge, and can be used by the guest. It was also very clean. There is filtered water available all the time and it is possible to rest in the common area (even after the check-out). It is possible to leave the luggage before and after your stay.
