AustraliaOn arrival reception could not fully explain why a message came through on Booking.com asking for prepayment via bank transfer. Attempts to contact the hotel via messages or phone did not get through- maybe it’s the wrong number in the site? Anyway we paid and it is obvious that management stay in their cool office while ordering staff around. The room was grubby. Gaps in windows meant we had to plug holes at night to keep mosquitoes out, although the bathroom louvre windows were just an open invitation. Shower could do with written instructions. Like previous reviews, used food trays were left outside rooms for days.
The position was great, the restaurant had nice service with open kitchen. They did offer twin beds that we needed. It was very cheap. Appreciated the hanging rack. The kettle and tv did work.
