Being out of Munnar meant needing to travel by bus to get into the city or tuk tuk. Good to know that there is a bus that goes right past the top of the drive towards town and they will stop for you if you call out and wave them down. 20rs for a ride in.

Amazing scenery, being just outside of Munnar you are in the thick of the great outdoors and surrounded by lush green hills. The other travelers who I met there were lovely and overall it has a great vibe to it.

They need to add privacy curtains on the dorm beds and anti-slam doors for the dorm. Impossible to close it quietly! Also,the lack of a kitchen is a shame, especially since they don't allow outside food. If they don't serve it (eg fruit) just allow guests to have it. People will still eat there as the food is good and cheap!

The staff really made this place for me. Kim and Wang Jim are so friendly and accommodating. Kim even serenaded us on his guitar which was really great. The views are beautiful and the beds are comfy. There's a table football table and a carrom board so you can play and socialise.

If you get here, make sure you have scooter rented beforehand, it's very hard to go around without it and Munnar only have very limited amount of scooters. Some also don't rent them for this accommodation due to their steep road.

It's located with very nice view, peaceful, organizes nice trips for people who don't have scooter. Staff is great!

Nothing, but it can be slightly complicated that you have to pay everything up front before you arrive which can be trickier with an international card if you don't have an Indian bank account or UPI - my booking was actually cancelled because I was out of phone reception up the road in Marayoor when these messages asking for payment were being sent, but quickly & helpfully reinstated once I found some wifi and was able to respond..

Quieter option than the Zostel next door which owns the place, we were basically left alone to get on with it so if you want service & sociability maybe look at the Zostel but if you want peace & quiet this is the spot! Lovely comfy dorm with a spectacular balcony view. No local food nearby but the Zostel's cafe is good and not too expensive. Buses to & from Munnar can drop you at the corner (ask for the Moolakada at Pallivasal) for the steep 5min walk down to the hostel, so it's easy to get to & to get into town when you need.

The hostel is located in a peaceful area, away from the hustle of the main town. It is clean and well made. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant.

Everything was fine but just one point as this is a new property and they owns zostel as well so they are more focused on zostel. Please focus on this property as well and increase the number of staff in this property.

staff wasn’t helpful at all, didn’t even speak English. I booked a tour in the morning, in the evening it was suddenly more expensive but too late to book somewhere else.. it’s quite expensive so get around in tuktuks, have that in mind when you choose the location

Food is terrible. So bland. Staff are pleasant but so incredibly unhelpful and useless. The hostel is out of the way and can be found down a VERY steep hill. It takes about 15-20 minutes to get into town via bus or tuk tuk. They don’t even have a number for a tuk tuk driver. There is no way of organising any activities. They advertise activities but you need a minimum number of people to organise anything. I got lucky with meeting the people I did in my dorm, otherwise the experience would have been terrible here. This hostel is poorly managed which is a shame because the place has a lot of potential.

Nice new hostel with potential but definitely not ready yet. - They offer tours, but need at least 5 people. The total capacity for the hostel is 10. So, the tours could never happen. - Without scooter/motorbike it’s extremely difficult to move around in Munnar. All scooters in the entire city were sold out though. The hostel should inform people pre departure to book your transport timely. - They had an entire menu with great offering, 80% was not available though…. (But the food was good) - As helpful and kind they tried to be, the staff doesn’t speak English very well and whenever you asked them something the answer was usually: I don’t know. - The hostel is extremely noisy. My room was right next to reception so I could all the time hear exactly what was happening there, and all the check ins and out…. Also whenever people were upstairs in the public area, moving chairs, tables, playing fussbal etc, there was so much noise through the ceiling, to the point it woke me up every morning. - Rooms have no AC and are not isolated, lots of ants and insects make their way in. Also no curtain at the balcony door so much light coming in. It was definitely not an unpleasant stay, but I believe there is a lot of room for improvement.

Private rooms are big, balcony with great view, staff super kind.
