The location is perfect just a short distance from all the major attractions, yet tucked away enough to enjoy quiet and calm surroundings. The food was homely and delicious, giving a true taste of local Kashmiri hospitality. They even catered to our special meal requests without hesitation. Greatl stay!! It's not a 5-star hotel but for the money, the facilities, etc. were an exceptional value. Rooms are as advertised and the food was delicious. The view I had from my room aa well as the terrace alone is worth the money. Brand new mountains everywhere. You're welcome!!

I had a wonderful stay at Everest Guest House! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. A special thanks to Nazer Bai, the host, who went above and beyond in every aspect to make sure my stay was comfortable and memorable. Whether it was cleanliness, room service, food arrangements, or local guidance—Nazer Bai handled everything with excellence. His dedication, friendliness, and attention to detail truly made me feel at home. It’s rare to find such all-round amazing service these days. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-managed, and friendly place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

It was clean and host was very welcoming.

The heater was present only for bed. The room temperature was very low and since there was no heater for the room it was quite to bear the low temperatures.

This is the best place to stay It's very comfortable and hygienic, with an honest and welcoming host. The rooms are cozy, well-heated, and provide a great atmosphere for a relaxing stay.

There was nothing to like in the property.

The property manager tricked us into paying full amount in advance without giving us any receipt. There were basic amenities missing at the property. The amenities mentioned in the property description are misleading. There are no air conditioners, no heaters, electric blankets work only from 9pm onwards and do not work on power back up. From 12 in the night till 6am in the morning there was no power, no heater, deep negative temperatures and we were left to struggle through the night. There is no running hot water, instead we had very thinly dripping hot water or chilling cold running water in the attached bathroom. When even basic amenities were missing in the property, it feels useless to talk about other amenities required like TV or tour desk.

I had a comfortable and memorable stay with the Everest family. The hosts were incredibly cooperative, and Rizwan Bhai went out of his way to make our anniversary special by baking a delicious cake for us. The cake was absolutely fabulous—so tasty! I truly loved the warm hospitality and the overall experience. Stayed for 2 nights and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming environment.
