Amazing stay in the heart of Hampi! I had a wonderful experience staying at Murali Guesthouse Hampi. The location is perfect—peaceful yet very close to major attractions, temples, and local cafes. The bamboo huts and cottages are simple, clean, and beautifully surrounded by nature, which gives a truly relaxing vibe. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality. Murali anna and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming; they make you feel like part of their home. The homemade food at the guesthouse is delicious, especially Amma's cooking—it felt like having a meal prepared by family. I also loved the open spaces around the guesthouse where you can sit and watch the sunset or just unwind with a cup of chai. WiFi was good, and everything was well maintained. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, peaceful, and homely stay while exploring the magical beauty of Hampi!

Honestly, nothing to dislike—everything was well taken care of and exceeded expectations.

What I loved most about the property was the heartfelt hospitality that made the stay truly memorable. Murali was an incredibly thoughtful and friendly host, always ready to help with local tips or anything we needed. His mother’s warm and humble nature added a special touch, making us feel like part of the family. The property itself is peaceful, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable rooms and a calm atmosphere that’s perfect for unwinding after a day exploring Hampi. The homely vibe, coupled with the scenic surroundings and personalized care, made it more than just a place to stay—it felt like home.

    Nothing. Everything was good.

Breakfast was excellent. This was homemade, limited variety and the quantity was just as per the order. Its like enjoying the local cuisine that you won't get it in restaurants. The owners and staff were very polite, obliging and courteous. The guests are treated like extended family.

You are a little secluded so need a scooter to get around. All tour prices and taxis with the accom are more expensive than everywhere. Eg from hospet to the accom is 1000 ir at the station but 1500 through murali. Same with tuk tuk tour. It is glamping so just set your expectations. You will get some bugs frogs etc and walls are not sound proof so can hear music etc. Otherwise its a fantastic place and a highlight of our month in India.

Hampi in general and the hippie side which is where this property is location. So so beautiful and relaxing. The scenery is unreal. All the staff from murali to his mun, dad and staff were so friendly and welcoming. Like family. The cooking from muralis mum was exceptional! I highly suggest the egg thali. Scooter rental for 500ir a day. Tuk tuk tour available. The room is very comfortable, big bed and cool at night. The restaurant area. Is very nice to chill at with day beds.

I travelled hampi with my family and this is my first trip with my family I went to hampi and I was worried about, where to go how to do, what is the price? So many things in my mind and while I was searching in online which place to book finally I found the place Murali Guest House Hampi, thanks to booking.com for that, after reading all the reviews still I have so many confusion in my mind but once I booked the place, immediately the guest House owner Murali called me and he try to explained me how to reach their place and even they arranged pick up from hospet ofcourse it is chargeable for that for separately and once I reach the place Murali and entire his team members and the family super amazing, they are always there to help us, and murali made very helpful website he sent me one pfd file it's like a digital visiting card of his place and once we click on it, it will take you to every single places in day one and day 2 trips and I never seen any websites like that because every pictures you click it will takes you that location through Google map that you don't need to ask anyone about the directions and it is one by one and you don't waste also your time. Why I'm writting this much clearly because after I went there I got more clear vision and relax and murali and his team members helped us a lot. So if you planning to come to hampi then no worries about anything just book the place and enjoy your stay. I forgot to tell you about murali father or he takes us for sightseeing with their rickshaw for hampi and anegundi side and they have a bike also for rent and manju in the restaurant they made amazing food and mainu and the chef Vijay also amazing thanks for giving us a good food. The whole team members loved it. And I loved our stay at Murali Guest House Hampi.

Murali guesthouse is the best stay ever with beautiful views like paddy fields and hills around the place. It has both tent stays and very well maintained bamboo cottages. Family friendly, couple friendly and great for solo travellers as well. They arranged good facilities with hot water, transportation, and even guide with the places to explore in addition. The dining hall is the attraction of this beautiful stay. They play the music and you can’t miss this during night. Birthdays or any celebrations and even photoshoots are done here. Manju and Shainu maintain the place tidy. Last but not the least, Murali, the owner is very friendly and his whole family are very sweet and chill which makes out experience really awesome. Amazing people and stay🤩 love it
