Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FranceOld shower with no pipe. Quite a lot of insects enter the room (ants, crickets etc) The staff was sometimes a bit too present in the dinning room, always asking if you want more food. Not a lot of non Indian food options for the meals.
Breathtaking palace hotel! Very big, nice gardens and well maintained buildings. Many amenities to enjoy. The room was huge and traditionally decorated. Good price for an all inclusive stay even with high tea! Very helpful staff, very friendly and professional. Amazing location close to the jungle in a natural environment.

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing.
I truly think this is the best place my husband and I have ever stayed (and we have travelled a lot!). The hotel is a real-life palace, and is just impeccable. The staff members were all so wonderful and kind, and we felt so welcomed. The grounds were phenomenal - they took our breath away! And the food was absolutely delicious - some of the best curries we have had during our 2 month trip round India. It was also very close to the entrance of Ranthambore National Park (and we were lucky enough to see tigers!). We'd love to return to Nahargarh Ranthambhore in the future - it was 10/10.

United KingdomA limited food experience. Having just visited other luxury hotels in India, I did expect a more traditional delivery of dining. That is not to say I was expecting European food, quite the contrary - Indian dishes make a very nice change but I did expect my evening meal to offer à la carte as a choice . Instead, it was an outdoor buffet which on the plus side was dining under the stars, but gastronomically only comprised relatively few items such as chicken kebab, salad and few dessert options. Alongside the kebab, I was offered breaded fish nuggets which were very tasty but I took be almost an apology for the lack of other items. Breakfast was more traditional served in a dining room but again, there are not many cooked choices other than omelette or Dahl. .
Visually stunning. It gives the impression of a maharajah’s palace and Is described as a “village“ rather than a hotel and indeed, as you walk around this extensive area, it is easy to get lost in the fountains and plants and balconies that form this place. It has multiple terraces and many places in which you can sit and contemplate. It is unusual in that it is set in what is effectively wild brush. To get there, there is a bumpy ride down an unmade track before you arrive at the beautiful front gates - not an unpleasant experience. For me, it was another five minute walk to my room.I stayed there to be on the outskirts of the national park and to engage in a Safari. An important aspect for me is that I could psychologically retreat from the commercialism, poverty and chaos behind the massive closed gates.

OmanNone.
Location and the aesthetics, it is a palae style complex made by royal family of jaipur ( relatives) and is built in a rajput royalty style, very close to tiger reserve (gate 1- 3) other gates are on other side of the city. Staff is very helpful and rooms are spacious (will give you a different experience from box size rooms) our room was almost 300 sq feet and bathroom was equally spacious. Hot water is available in morning and evening. Hotel manager was very helpful called for doctor immediately as a medical urgent came up. Overall a good stay and one of the best experience in ranthambore. Dinner and breakfast both were tasty and couple of options. Pear season (amrud) was on and had barbeque amrud for first time. Live music (local folk singer) roams in the building giving a touch of time gone by.

IndiaStunning property with the most welcoming and caring staff. We felt like we were family, with everyone going out of their way to make our holiday spectacular! The palace hotel is surrounded by dense forest and the Aravalis on all sides. Every little corner, the grand courtyards, the rooms, the gardens, the various Mahals- are all done so tastefully, and the attention to detail must be appreciated. The Haathi Kund is definitely the prettiest pool we ever took a dip in! Absolutely love the property! But then, we didn’t expect anything less after our experience at the Alsisar Mahal!
