Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The roundabout nearby is very busy. But I don't think noise is avoidable if you stay in the city center.
Very friendly staff. The restaurant is really good. We had dinner there for two evenings.

Very nice and cozy property. Rooms are designed beautifully. Really liked the interiors. It is like a boutique property bang right in the centre of the city. Staff was very helpful, gave me a few suggestions on where to shop and places to see. Overall a great feel at the property.

Amazing stay at Hotel Nalanda for our 1 night trip to Ahmedabad. Staff were very helpful and attentive and we were able to check in early which was much appreciated after our overnight train. I also had some post delivered to this hotel, which was ready and waiting for me upon arrival. The hotel offered great value for money with a great breakfast selection included in the price. The staff were the stand out factor and couldn't do enough for you! Room was a good size and the shower was great temperature and pressure. Bed was a good size and very comfy. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ahmedabad.

The only thing was wifi was a bit slow and often lagging and 2pm check in time
Staff were so friendly, polite helpful and efficient. I was given complimentary masala tea and buscuits on arrival. Shower was hot immediately, air con and fan were in great working order. Comfy bed and pillows gave me a lovely sleep. Western breakfast flakes, assortmemt of fruit, toast, orange juice, and lots to.choose from for Indian breakfast. Masala tea and buscuits also available. Dual aspect view from room. I had a very relaxing time.

Bathroom slippers were not there. Rooms are very compact.
Breakfast was good, beds were comfy and clean. Location is near to centre of city. Roof terrace is good for relaxation.

The property’s check in time is 2pm but I reached at 10am in the morning, the reception staff were very helpful, they tried getting my room ready at the earliest - meanwhile I soaked some sun at their rooftop lounge and it was very relaxing The rooms were a bit small but very clean and comfortable beds Their food at Spiceville served very tasty food - I would highly recommend their Mutton Rogan Josh Would definitely come back again
