Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

On reaching the property the management was telling all the delux rooms are sold out and was trying to offer other unhygienic and compact room which don't even have a ensuit bathroom

They didnt provide us the stay after booking it prior 1 month….They had given our stay to someone else and the owner didnt pick our call as he switched off his phone …It was not clean ….for 2 huts these was one restroom only …..worst stay i had ever seen please dont book this stay ….

The services and hospitality were horrible. There were so many insects in the room and the worst was on the bed. It's definitely not family friendly or even decent property especially for girls to stay in. On our first night there were 5 men(>40 years old) who were drinking and smoking all night(9pm-8am) outside in the pool and common area. We were 2 girls staying in the property and we could not even go out to fill our water bottles because we didn't feel safe. There is no guard on the gate or in the property. The location of the property is horrible. The autos charge Rs400 for 5-6 km. The only reason we booked it was because of the pool, but we didn't even got to enjoy it much because we didn't feel safe. On the last day the only thing we requested was to get our breakfast at 8 am because we had to catch a bus. The breakfast is usually available at that time but on that day we didn't get our breakfast till 8:45 am. There was not a single person present on the property during that time and when we called him, he didn't do anything. It was horrible experience. Don't book it.

I strongly advise against booking this place, especially if you are traveling with family. Do not be misled by the description—it is highly inaccurate. 1. Limited and Poorly Maintained Accommodation • The property consists of just three shacks—there are no proper family rooms available. • The AC was faulty and worked only in one room, but not in the top one where we stayed. • The entire place was infested with insects—large ants, lizards, and spider webs were everywhere. 2. Unhygienic & Poor Service • Despite repeated requests, we had to constantly remind them to clean and provide basic amenities like a dustbin. • Staff service was extremely slow—they took a long time to respond to simple requests. 3. Extremely Unsafe & Unpleasant Experience • Noisy and unsafe environment—a large group of intoxicated bachelors partied all night, creating a nuisance. • Our kids and elderly parents felt scared due to the loud disturbances and unsafe surroundings. • We had no choice but to stay as it was late at night and finding another place wasn’t feasible. 4. Unethical Pricing & Harassment • Initially booked for Friday night, but extended our stay by a day due to a last-minute change. • No communication about extra charges—we assumed the rate would be the same. • Shockingly, we were charged double the rate for the extra night. • After paying a part of the amount, the owner harassed us with calls at 11 PM, demanding immediate checkout unless we paid the full inflated amount. 5. Booking.com Must Re-evaluate This Listing • This horrible experience has completely shaken my trust in Booking.com. • This is the second consecutive bad experience, making me question whether the site verifies properties before listing them.
