The adventurous bumpy road to the top , is a good prelude for the nature experience of the resort. Tucked at the top of the hills, you will feel fully surrounded by nature and cut off from the world below. The views are extraordinary, stretching until where the eye can see, while the vale below has a gentle mantle of clouds, reflecting the sunrise or sunset colours of the sky. The staff was extremely helpful, we had some issues with a tree house and we were promptly moved to a second one. Admittedly, the activities and hikes are not extensive, but perfect for a short duration stay. We didn't explore options of hiking around the resort, but I would guess there are a lot of options given the surrounding tea plantations access paths. Food wise, it was probably the best we had in Kerala. And maybe in the top 5 of our 2 weeks in India. We were honestly surprised how the remote access could have provided the fresh tastes of Kerala food, but the simple well prepared dishes made it work! All and all a solid stay, a bit on the expensive side for what is offered. Also, do bare in mind you are in nature!

Rough road 30 minutes to get there in 4x4 but this is provided. Two hour wait in Munnar for the transport even though we told them our arrival time. On our departure 3 days later the 4x4 vehicle broke down on the incredibly uneven road. We had been warned of this by email / messages so we were prepared for it.

Brilliant location. Lovely walks in tea plantations, in the mountains and to the 4 viewpoints.

With some of our questions we were helped with very nicely, with others there was less flexibility. For example we sent a mail if it was possible if we could stay a tree house and never received any response. When we arrived at the property we were told that not many guests were there and an upgrade was possible. Late check-out (latest possibilty was 11:30 AM) was not possible so we went to a restaurant in the city with all our bags to wait for our driver who would bring us to the next stop until 15:00 PM.

We came here to stay for my boyfriends birthday and the location is really nice. We could watch the sunrise from our tent and slept in a tree house for one night. The treks in the package were shorter than we expected (ca. 1h in the morning and in the evening) but our guide made them a bit longer, after we asked. During the day we visited the Lockhardt Tea Facktory, which was a fun experience. We were lucky and saw three Bisons very close to the property. The food was good, especially the vegetarian options.

considering we were staying around the tea plantations we were really disappointed to know that we couldn’t order any tea other than at breakfast (or using the tea bags in the room).

the whole stay was amazing. the wildlife we saw was great, our tents were really spacious and clean, and the grounds were superb. the walking tours that they offered were also really informative and fun, with some breathtaking views along the way.

I don’t usually write bad reviews, but I was very disappointed in this place. The staff does not help at all with getting to the accommodation. On the contrary, they were quite rude when we asked for assistance in getting a cab. Similarly, they don’t facilitate any tour in the area, so you need to find your own driver. Staff also struggles a lot with English, which means it’s pretty difficult for foreigners. We are also pretty sure some money was stolen from our room, while we went out for a long walk. The food quality was not great. Overall, there are plenty of other places that offer the same views but better conditions.

The resort is on a beautiful property.

I have really mixed feelings about this place. On one hand, the location is amazing, it’s almost at the top of a hill, and the off-road ride to get there was a great experience. But charging almost €90 for a tent and €130 for a tree house feels like a rip-off. It’s one of the most expensive places in Munnar, and for that price, they should at least keep the property clean and a bit more comfortable. I’m not expecting luxury, but basic improvements would go a long way; clean the windows, sweep away the leaves, make the cottage feel a bit more inviting. The food was okay, just average. The views are definitely beautiful, but honestly, there are nicer spots in Munnar unless you’re really into being deep in the forest. The staff were super friendly, which I really appreciated. Overall, though, it was a mixed experience, and I wouldn’t come back.

The staff was unprofessional. You don’t have any restaurants around other than the restaurant at the hotel that instead of working 24/7 like they say is working in the morning until 10am and dinner starts at 19:30 and is late 20 minutes every time:( The trekking trip was supposed to start at 5 pm and guide didn’t arrive until 5.30 after I complained 6 timer and they finally called him. The restaurant is open and freezing at night and they don’t offer hot drinks or something to Keep you warm. And they were rude and laughed at us when we were hungry and complained the food is 20 minutes late I DON’T NOT RECOMMEND. NOT WORTH THE PRICE

There was a leakage in the Tree house so they ahifted us to the tent hoise stay. I paid for the tree house but was shifted to tent house room due to unavaialability. But i was charged the price of the tree house

Worst Experience In Nature Zone Resort at Munnar *Pathetic & Filthy Resort* 1. No proper room service (Bedsheets, Blankets & Towels were not changed even after requesting several times and even no room cleanness) 2. There is No Hot water in the bathroom and when we requested for Hot Water they simply said here only warm water 3. When we complained their bad service with their manager Ms.Nayana she get offended and we Never Saw such a rude lady manger in our life time. She don’t have manners to behave with ladies and kids 4. Frogs were in the bathroom and very uncomfortable and awkward 5. Black mould & dirt on all the toilet/wet room/shower walls which had not been cleaned for many months. 6. They charge 100 RS per single omlet and when we asked about over charge they respond very rudely like eat if you want but we will charge for order 7. Their Complimentary Breakfast is better to avoid. Served very cold and not fresh 8. Doesn’t seems to build relationship with the customers (they simple argue for anything) If you are planning to visit Munar better stay off from *Nature Zone* resort due to their bad service even they charge more.

Customer service from the Cochin office was really poor 👎🏼 when I call then I feel that they don’t have enough patience to hear from the customer. But when I reach there I just changed my mind they are really fantastic and helpful

All the staffs are really cooperative and it’s really worth it ❤️
