The staff was impeccable, they went of there way to help, making our stay so comfortable. They organized us a dinner that was one of the best meals we had.

The owner introduced us at his carpet, kashmir and jewelry sellers. We found out in Leh that the bracelet wasn’t silver, the gem was glass and we were overcharged for the other articles. That doesn’t feel nice. After a lot of hassle we got our finally our money back.

It is a nice boat on a quiet part of Dal lake. The owner was very friendly and organized nice day trips and also our trip to Leh. We became kind a sort of friends.

Lovely houseboat with beautiful views of the mountains. Good food if you want to stay on the houseboat for breakfast or evening meal. Nice outside space to sit and watch life on the lake. Very attentive staff.

Very loud at times with a mosque close by and surrounded closely by many other houseboats, can be only accessed by boat, food and water on the expensive side with 500 rupees for a meal and 50 rupees for a bottle of water,

There's something to say about the hospitality & extreme kindness of the Kashmiri people and this place definitively deserves an award for the best hospitality ever. I definitely recommend this place, not just for the experience of staying in a luxurious and well maintained houseboat, but for everything in between. I promise your heart will be full with love for the people of Kashmir and you'll want to come back for more because of how well the owner and the staff take care of you at the Nazneen Houseboat!The place was good.also food 👌. Over-all Good experience.

The room were dirty and not cosy , less amenities and poor electricity supply. The heating equation of the room was not at all satisfactory. They just lit 5-6 firewood in the bukhara at around 8pm and told us that it would heat up the room enough in a few hours and would help us for the whole night but in real the heat went in just 2-3 hours and the whole night was cold. Even on the morning we had to check out at 8:30 am and it was freezing inside the room to even change clothes. Very disappointing

Unfortunately there were quite a few things: - when we arrived, we immediately were encouraged to do a tour the following day with no questions about what we wanted to do in Dal Lake / Kashmir. The owner then seemed annoyed when we didn't agree to it / questioned the costs which got the stay off to a bad start - food was not great, breakfast especially. One morning it was inedible and we complained. Was 500 INR each for dinner for 1 course which felt a lot in comparison to other places we've stayed - was noisy and didn't feel like we had any privacy. Constant knocks on the door. 'Do not disturb' signs would really help. - Uninvited sellers were brought into the communal spaces when we were eating (jewellery, pashminas etc). We didn't want to buy anything (and would have been nice if we'd been asked if we were in the market) so it made for awkward interactions which made us feel uncomfortable and not relaxed - We booked a tour through the houseboat. The accommodation booked for us was really good, but the guide and driver were not. Driver continually drove recklessly despite us telling him to slow down / stop looking at his phone. We threatened no tip and that's the only way he slowed down. We had booked a 3 day tour but the guide finished at 12pm on the 3rd day for prayers and cut the tour short. - Houseboat boy asked for tips lots...tips should be given if service is great, not because someone asks - Overall felt overpriced for the rooms & service - nowhere near 4 star It felt like almost the entire time our hosts and the vast majority of people we interacted with were trying the upmost to extract extra money out of us and cheat us into overpaying…left a very bad taste.

Boat was lovely inside - lots of lovely furniture and room was very spacious. Bed comfortable & constant hot water. Good location, not far from Ghat 9 and easy to get a boat across for 100 INR

Our toilet was broken and the shower/bath leaked across the bathroom floor. We mentioned this several times but nothing was done. The food was meagre. We discussed with the owner what we wanted to do on our stay and he offered to be our guide. We agreed on a price. It was not cheap but he said he could arrange everything we wanted and not to worry. In short, he ripped us off! We didn’t go where we asked and spent one dreadful day driving on busy roads through busy towns when we were meant to be in the hills!

Dal Lake is beautiful. Being on a houseboat by the water was delightful. The view was amazing and watching Golden Eagles and experience of a lifetime. Riding on the water in the shikara was very special.

Cleanliness and hygiene was very poor. The bedsheets and toilet were very unclean. Facilities were very poor. There was no drinking water in the room which we had to buy later. We had to ask for the soap, toilet sandal and toilet paper which they delivered almost 4hrs later. Staff was not at all cooperative. Only one staff was present and most of the time he was absent while needed.

The weather turned rainy after we reached Srinagar and there were small leakages of rainwater in the bathroom. Nothing too much or alarming, but would have been nice if this can be taken care of in the future.

Yaseen Tiger Sir was very helpful and helped us with arranging the taxi at a discounted price. He also went out of his way to make sure we were safe and kept in touch with us until our next destination. I highly recommend this houseboat to anyone who wants to experience a houseboat stay in Srinagar

A 03 bedroom Super Deluxe Houseboat 🚢 located in Dal lake. Beautiful room with all amenties. Bath tub and shower cubicle. Wifi available.Common seating area cum reception. Have a indoor dining area with seating and dining option. Enjoy candlelit dinner in the night. Superb food and amazing service. They have a personal motorboat to ferry guests from Ghat to houseboat and vice versa. Houseboat belongs to Nazneen Group known for their best service. I completely enjoyed my stay. This was my third stay at Nazneen Houseboat 🚢 and every time I fall in love with it even more.Everything is absolutely perfect- the location is stunning, the rooms are pretty and the food is fantastic. The staff, especially Mr.Bashir and Adil are very caring and they start looking after you as soon as you step in. During each of my visit, the staff left no stone unturned in making me feel right at home. I actually call Nazneen Houseboat my second home. So yes, I would most definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a serene and spiritual experience

Obviously, anyone who stays here or even looks at it from inside will give it five stars. If possible, more stars can be given! It is luxury where not much can be expected. When you first reach Dal lake and you get into your designated shikara which is supposed to take you to your houseboat, and then your shikara uploads you into this Nazneen Houseboat, we didn't foresee the level of its luxury. It's the epitome of luxuriousness.
