I booked a hotel through the Booking.com app, opting for a double bed at 1200+rs total. At check-in, the receptionist asked if I preferred a single or double bed, and assuming he meant whether I was alone or with someone, I chose single. However, I ended up with a small single bed room despite paying 1200rs. Realizing a double bed would have been a better option for the price, I inquired about the difference, but the receptionist insisted on charging 1300rs for a double bed.

Location of the hotel is not good. It's located in middle of market. Inside hotel is very clean but outside of hotel is very dirty. They haven't any kitchen . If ordered then they will bring from other hotel. Menu is very short. There have no options for other food.

United KingdomI wasn’t keen on the extensive check-in data collection process: they took photos of our faces which to us as a European seemed pretty invasive! Also the bedsheets require better laundering. Apart from that all good.
Good budget option in Siliguri, this hotel is located pretty centrally in the middle of local markets and offers decent rooms at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean by Indian standards. It was surprisingly quiet at night. The staff are welcoming and helpful. They arranged a tuktuk for us and even gave us an early morning wake-up call to catch our train! I would recommend for an overnight stay while in transit and would stay again if in the area.
