Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaI was made to wait 20 minutes at 11 pm (2300 hours) as the room was not ready. The pillows were voluminous (thick) and very uncomfortable. There were mosquitos in the reception area. Very strange because Lemon Tree is a good hotel brand and my earlier stays in other properties have always been good.
Staff was courteous. Breakfast was decent.

IndiaNo hot water available and u need to inform 20 mins in advance if it is night time. It was available during the day. Locks did not work n had to take the staff along to open the door from outside. Due to the industrial area no view, though the staff was good enough to give me a road view. No in room dining was available from night to morning 8 am. There is absolutely nothing near the hotel. Gym is also not available. Was not worth the value. No bathroom mats and tissue available. Shower gel pumps not working well. Property is good, but someone needs to invest in it. The pillows were too big and uncomfortable. Cleanliness was the issue. Bedsheets were washed and clean but looking old and dull, so they need to change them.
The staff was good, the location was near to where I had to go in Noida. Rooms were big. 2 free Drinking water bottle was available. Ac and vent were working well. Hair dryer was available. Tea and coffee kettle was available. Double lock was there in the room.

United KingdomI did not like the fact that the hotel insisted on 50% payment upfront while was still in the UK....when booking.com said that full payment could be made at the hotel. It was misleading and as far as I am concerned a breach of contract and frank false advertising. The halls had really worn out carpets and the hallways to the rooms looked drab and cheap - unbefitting of a "4 star" hotel. The bathroom looked cheap and felt likewise - worn through towelling, no hand towels - which is pretty standard in other "4-star hotels" the world over - I do travel a lot. House-keeping was slow on occasion to make up the room - despite the reception being told that the room was ready to be made up. The lobby was drab with worn out dirty (looked dusty) sofas - and felt impersonal The lobby was full of mosquitoes; There could have been more spraying of insecticide during the day One lift did not work for the last 3 days of my stay. I got stuck in the same lift at night, the emergency button did not work - and eventually I ended up (or down) in the basement - which was pitch black - with not even emergency lighting - surely that must be Health and Safety breach? There was a lot noise during the day due to construction work on floor below - and I was never warned to expect this. Best of all (though not amusing at the time), I expected, as in hotels elsewhere in the world, that there would be a room safe. There was none - and eventually the staff triumphantly produced one which was ported from somewhere else - so my valuables could have been placed in but it could have been taken away easily - which defeats the purpose of a safe!!! At least one should available at the reception. To be very frank had I not been here together with my brother with whom I had to undertake family business, so logistically it made sense for us to stay together, I would moved to another hotel without hesitation.
Ok. Enough food choice on the whole - though I only really had breakfast. Quality of food was reasonable, as was the choice. Service in the restaurant was reasonable. And attentive staff on the whole. Location of the hotel was reasonable for what I needed to do Generators came on promptly when there was a power outage

IndiaSeveral things. The most troubling part was the bathroom. The shower cubicle at the entrance of the bathroom had no enclosure. It was tiny and water did not drain out flooding the entire bathroom including the commode area. This was a serious safety (slipping and falling leading to bone fractures) and hygiene issue. Even after repeated request Syed at front desk refused to change my room, even though the property was empty. It seems the staff was busy giving out rooms on hourly basis to quick walk in customers. I will explore option before reaching out to Booking.com and Lemon Tree Hotel, for my future travel.
The property happened to be in the vicinity of my work

IndiaRooms were in shambles. Nothing seemed to be in order. AC kept switching off repeatedly at night. Broken Kettle, TV remote not working, no safe in the room as advertised on the website, no garbage liners, Soap dispensers not functioning, no hand towels, bath towels too small and in bad condition, bed making creaking sounds, shower in bathroom dysfunctional. noise from other rooms. Repeated requests to staff for issues were not addressed in time. They were courteous, but they couldn't find solutions. Even the numbers to dial for front office was printed incorrectly and was later told to dial another number. Housekeeping was slow and understaffed.
Breakfast was ok.
