Open road hostel is an excellent choice when in Jaisalmer. The hosts are very warm and welcoming, and they ensured excellent hospitality throughout my stay here. They also arranged an overnight desert safari which was the highlight of the trip. It is also at walkable distance to Jaisalmer fort and other attractions. Definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Jaisalmer.

Lovely hostel/ hotel with fantastic facilities and atmosphere. Vivian and Aparna and their wee daughter were wonderful lovely hosts, along with the other staff. They were very accommodating, great to hang out and talk with and ready and willing to help with anything needed. There is a lovely terrace as well as rooftop and pool table for socialising which was added bonus. They also organise a top notch camel safari and sleep under the desert stars which has been a definite highlight of my India trip so far. Couldn't recommend highly enough

We liked everything! They have a big and tasty menu, but since everything is freshly made it takes Some time. Although you have more time to enjoy the rooftop :)

Directly when we arrived we felt we leveled very well with the Amazing owners of open Road. They are in for lighthearted chats and deep conversations, and explain you more about the South and north indian culture. The rooftop is very chill (to see the sunset & fort) and the room looks cosy and clean! We also experienced the dessert tour and returned after since we liked it so much.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Open Road Hostel, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff and the owner made me feel incredibly welcome with their warm smiles and attentive service. What truly sets Open Road Hostel apart is its exceptional attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The Food was pretty great and everything was made from scratch which takes time. Their kadi pakoda was really tasty like it was made at home.

Amazing stay ! Everything was perfect, from rooms to café to the friendliness and help of everyone around. The safari organised by Vivian was very good, as authentic as it can be, with a beautiful night under the stars, in the desert.

Open road (Titanic) is a perfect example of how a hostel should be, Although its a hostel Vivian and Aparna will make you feel like its a homstay, there is plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting space to chill and relax so in the night you can either sit near bonfire and have a good time with other travelers or sit inside if you want to work/study. Dorms were clean and had all the necessary amenities. The biggest highlight of the stay was Jaisalmer desert safari! The best safari one can have!! 4x4 ride, Camel ride, delicious food and sleeping under the stars 🤩!!! We had so much fun During the whole safari which was organized by Sandy and his Lead Camel named Al Pacino😂 I 100 percent recommend this hostel and desert safari.

The Open Road is the perfect place to stay in Jaisalmer, offering a variety of accommodations to suit every preference. The food is absolutely delicious, and the hosts are incredibly welcoming. Staying here is just as enjoyable as exploring Jaisalmer itself! Choosing this place for my stay was definitely the best decision, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Great vibe, incredible staff. 100% STAY HERE! Umesh (when my tuktuk driver didn’t pick me up) took me to the train station in the middle of the night and made sure I got to my right seat. So helpful! Really cool place, great food & amenities. 10/10!

This is my FAVOURITE HOSTEL in India! I ended up staying here for over 2 weeks. Amazing rooftop, food (smoothies, sandwiches & curries) comfy beds, common areas and perfect location. Insane value for money honestly! Vivian & Aparna are the most incredible hosts, perfect balance of attentiveness and giving guest space. They made me feel so welcome, looked after, and they both have a beautiful energy I felt like family by the end :). I went into other hostels too and definitely preferred this vibe so if you’re in Jaisalmer DEFINITELY stay here! Thank you guys, I loved it here so much!

Exellent hostel. Perfect for backpackers. You have all you need. Good and clean rooms, enough common space, rooftop terrace. The food they provide is great, allso the one night tour in desert. In 3 weeks in India this has been so far the best hostel I stayed. From the first momment you steped in, you fill welcome. If all the hostels would be like that, what a luxury would it be backpacking.😀

Location wise it's near to fort you'll get most of the things in walking distance. Rooftop cafe view is nice and you can get a good sunset view from the hostel The hospitality is top notch You can get good assistance for anything in jaisalmer.

During my stay at this hostel, I had an absolutely fantastic time. Aparna, Vivian, and their lovely Kanmani were outstanding hosts. The hostel's location is incredibly convenient, being close to the Jaisalmer Railway station. The dorm rooms were not only tidy but also maintained to a high standard of hygiene. The washrooms were spotless and well-kept. One of the highlights was the in-house café which offered incredibly delicious food. I particularly enjoyed their South Indian cuisine. The chef's culinary skills were top-notch, and the tea was simply exceptional. The hostel exudes a tranquil and calming atmosphere, making my stay truly enjoyable.
