Only the fact that it was very close to the cliff.

There weren't enough services in the room, the washroom was very untidy , the room was not clean and well maintained. There was no room service. Only the price was less compared to other hotels near it but that doesn't mean the service will be this bad! It's just like a cheap hotel for labourers.

We really liked the staff's behaviour during our stay. They were extremely friendly and helpful—suggesting places to visit, sharing contact numbers for activities like Varkala mangrove kayaking, and even recommending great local food spots. While checking out, they arranged an auto for us to the station, which was a thoughtful touch. We also received a discount on the room, which was much appreciated. The location of the stay was another big plus—just a short walk from the cliff and the beach, making it very convenient for us to explore the area.

The stay was not worth the money. There was a serious lack of basic facilities and cleanliness. The room had only one charging socket, which was very inconvenient. The mug and bucket provided were dirty, and there was water leakage from the wash basin. There was no hot water available, and overall, the cleanliness of the space was very poor. Most of the basic amenities we usually expect from a stay were missing.

Peaceful place I liked a lot.... I prefer every one for this place any age any country everyone can enjoy the place... Friendly staff🤍

Aquaterra Stay is an excellent choice for your vacation. The rooms are comfortable and well-kept. The best part is the staff.They are incredibly helpful and kind, available around the clock, and assisted us in connecting with various people, helping to lower the costs of different activities in Varkala. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant stay with a friendly staff in Varkala.

Property dnt have a beach view

the place is close by the cliff and the host is super helpful. a decent place to crash in bed after a good stroll along the cliff.

could have been a little more cleaner

Check-in seemed smooth.

Had to pay cash. My Indian friend paid with Google pay using their QR code. They did not give us receipts. The room they offered us was below expectation and my friend managed for them to offer us a better room for the booking .com amount we already paid. When we checked out 4 nights later I again asked for a receipt but we already had proof of payment in Google pay. There was no mention that we had not paid enough. Then I could not believe it that they accused us of a no show at the property. That was an outright lie! I think their purpose was to collect a no show fee. The headache of having to deal with this kind of behavior made me angry. I enjoy my travels here in India and find most Indians kind with a good sense of humor. However the social social structure here is very much geared to some extra rupee income. I can easily live with that but people should be honest and not trying to cheat us

Very pathetic rooms, two they repaint and it hectic paint smell..rooms were damaged stage..I rejected the rooms and they did not returned my advance payment of 2000 . I asked to give good rooms or return my money. They refused my request and I had to quit the resort. And for your kind notice, it is no at all resort, it is just local lodge rooms. I wonder how booking.com recommended this to me for 19000 .

I stayed for 1 week , it's amazing especially the vibes. Has best volunteers to engage and entertain the guests. I will definitely visit once more

The rooms are very neat and more comfortable. Iam also looking for these type of rooms. Its totally worth and budget friendly

This stay is on the North Cliff. The rooms are small. But the walk on the cliff with so many restaurants and shops is amazing. The cliff in Varkala is a paradise. Once you are here everything is different. You are 100 m from ocean and every where you can see the ocean. Truly gods God's paradise.
