Great location and view from the hostel is very good , you can see kanchanjunga from the hotel's sitting area. Beds are comfy and spacious. The staff are very helpful.

Nothing much to do with the hostel itself - but other guests are super noisy here. Playing guitar at 6am and such. Hostel should enforce civic sense perhaps... Bigger and more visible street sign would help guests upon arrivsl.

Pathfinder’s Nest in Darjeeling gave me one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I had planned to stay for just one day, but the place, people, and vibes made me extend my trip to 8–10 days! The hostel features a beautiful retro and ancient theme, complete with a British-era fireplace that creates a magical atmosphere, especially at night, accompanied by live music from Abhishek Bhaiya and others. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and well-maintained, thanks to Sabita Di, who also cooked delicious homely food and treated me like family. Vishnu Bhai managed everything smoothly and guided me to explore the local culture and hidden gems of Darjeeling. Kumar Bhaiya was a true all-rounder—driver, guide, singer, and human Google Maps! Being on my first solo trip, I never felt alone. I met people from all over India, and the hostel felt like home. Truly a warm, soulful, and unforgettable stay!

The experience was good, I loved the view from the balcony and common area window, the beds were cozy and very comfy, overall I really liked my stay. :)

They are under staffed. Also the property is after a long walk uphill so if you are just arriving in Darjeeling please use the taxi all the way to the property rather than getting down at taxi stand. The uphill slope will take a toll on you.

Sabita and Bishnu were excellent hosts. The property is beautifully decorated with spacious, rooms and space with ample room for gathering. Extra points for Sabita's excellent cooking.

It's more likely B&B, not a hostel. Service is so warm. Lobby is unquie and rest area can see good view

There was no restaurant/ breakfast despite what it says on booking.com. It's a new hostel though so maybe it's in the works. Still highly recommend.

Its a bit of a walk up the hill but thats almost all places in darjeeling as its a hill station. Power did cut out a bit but not really their fault. Internet couldve been a bit better in the rooms but worked well in the common areas. Main drawback would be the bathrooms and showers were freezing and hot water didnt really work.

The beds are massive for hostel beds and lockers are good size too. Food they had was cheap and super tasty. Staff were super friendly!

I had an amazing stay at this hostel in Darjeeling! The owner is an incredibly kind and welcoming person who treats guests like family. A special mention to Pranay, the caretaker, who ensures everything runs smoothly and makes guests feel at home. The ambience and interior theme of the hostel are superb, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. The dorms and washrooms are spotlessly clean, ensuring a pleasant experience. A big shoutout to Chef Savita for preparing absolutely delicious and homely meals at very nominal prices. Every dish was made with love and tasted amazing! Overall, a perfect place to stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Darjeeling. Definitely a 5-star experience!

I liked the most the coziness this place brings to you. As its was my first time solo travelling this place made me feel safe. Pranay and shiksha didi are such warm hosts she even asked me daily whether I have eaten anything or not and if you are traveling solo you will understand how it feels to be asked that question 🥹 Pranay bhaia kept asking me before arrival whether i was safe or not because i reached the destination around 12:00 am. 🫰 Now bunker :- Everyone wants a coxy bunker with some privacy well they provide that utmost if you are a solo female traveller you should definitely stay here. Warm, cozy without any restriction I spent 3 days there. My workcation couldn't be better. Budget friendly :- Hella yes..!! Location :- I think the location is best if you wanna stay close to the mall market (chourasta). Due to location i enjoyed the night life of Darjeeling too in Glenary's. Lastly, thank you for making this trip the memorable one, will definitely visit again please welcome me like this always 🙈✨
