Pepper Jazz is a beautifully maintained homestay, with a perfect mix of modern comforts and traditional touches. The kitchen is extensively equipped with everything you need, and the rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Ami, the host, is friendly, thoughtful, considerate, and always happy to help. I would highly recommend staying here for its ideal mix of comfort and thoughtful hospitality.

After 2 months travelling across India this was so far the best place I've stayed. It has it all - big room, comfortable beds, safety boxes, nice washrooms, fully equipped kitchen, common area, terrace, washing machine, bicycles.. and a really nice and friendly owner who goes beyond to make your stay unforgettable.

What a host ❤️ Thanks to make us feel home for few days. We’ve enjoyed so much the peacefulness of the place.

Ami is very kind, caring and decent 🌺 Available 24/7 and very helpful. The place is excellent. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay longer. I’m sure I will come back. highly recommended 🙏🏼

Gem of a place!!! Excellent facilities, cleanliness with nice ambient lightings and soft music ! Very good and many relaxing common areas where you can sit and relax ....do your work ... read or just chill :) Best part was the loaction situated in a nice green quiet area , it was centrally situated almost equidistant from all major sight seeing places north cliff, south cliff, odayam beach etc. Nothing was far off from here including the major transportation hubs - railway station , bus stand etc....Many supermarkets near by. Host provides free bikes and is immensely helpful and will come up with detailed plans to spend your vacation in Varkala with best options and help on scooter/cab rentals as well. The Kitchen and self cooking facility was amazing. One of the best homestays i have experienced so far in India ! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and it felt like a second home all the time and will highly recommned this place to anyone :)

Lovely homestay with well equipped kitchen, free laundry facilities. The location was ideal in a peaceful green area and close to all major touristic destinations like north cliff, South cliff, odayam etc. Up for use there are bicycle avaliable. Wonderful vibes and very positive atmosphere. The owner is really kind, helpful and during my stay, hosted some classes and local rituals as well.

Noting to find, not to like.

As a new venture everything was brand new. The kitchen and facilities are fantastic and the family are kind and helpful. A few little teething problems and a powerful but or two - which are to be expected in India - I would love to return.

An observation/recommended: it would be helpful to have individual reading lights in the dorm. It's a tiny thing and personal preference. It did not diminish the quality of the house or the standard of the service.

Excellent home stay with all conceivable facilities.Very clean with alot of open common spaces/areas. The location was in a peaceful quiet residential area away from crowded commercial areas but it was situated central to all major touristic attractions, you can reach the main spots with in minutes from here. They also offer tennis lessons and have a fantastic tennis ball machine for training!!

Ideal homestay - they have everything you need: you can wash your own clothes, they have bikes for guests, or they help you to rent a scooter, full use of kitchen with all the possible small appliances you could think of! Filtered drinking water too! My room was spacious and had a desk. I was able to do a work call there too on the wifi and it worked well. The hosts are incredibly kind. Probably some of the kindest I’ve ever met! They’ll help you with anything you need.

It’s just a little far away from the main action in Varkala but if you’re looking for a more peaceful stay then Pepper Jazz is perfect! But they also supply bicycles to guests for going over and back.

Super nice, clean and spaceous rooms. Well equipped, very comfortable bed. serveral nice sitting areas inside as well as outside the house. It was nice that it was possible to use the kitchen. The Indian breakfast was also very nice. Amy, the host was the kindest host Í ever had: generous, friendly, helpful and extremely caring: gave fantastic tips for local restaurants, helped with getting an Indian SimCard and even came to the hospital with me, when i was ill. I had a wonderfull stay and will definetly come again. Thank you!

The owner was so friendly and very helpful. He dropped me off where I needed to go on his scooter and they also offered a free collection from the train station. Above and beyond! Highly recommend

It is the best homestay that I have stayed at and I travel a lot! Ami the owner takes really good care of you for example he brought us to get Sim Cards on the first day we arrived even though we were there for hours he waited. He also gave us free bikes to use to explore the place. And he came with us to get picked up from the airport even though the driver came as well - and it was 2:30am in the morning! His mum is the sweetest and showed us how to cook certain dishes! Don’t think twice about booking just do it! Also they have free washing facilities/kitchen.

The location was quite nice and peaceful away from maddening crowds. Most of the major touristic attarctions were near by and the railway station and bus stand was also not far away. The Hosts were chill and helped me with the trips near by on scooter. It was very fun to ride on scooters and explore the beutiful near by areas. Here you can meet plenty of interesting fellow travellers and plan group activities. The terrace was very good for sunbathing and relaxing. Well equipped kitchen with all facilities.
