Great location, bed was comfortable, breakfasts were delicious! And it’s walking distance to the beach and cliff side restaurants. Manoj looked after us well!

The bathroom was no good enough, considering the price paid for the room though. The shower was no separate from the rest of the bathroom and no hot water was available.

The room was clean, nicely decorated and had a reasonable size. And the hotel was good located, a bit separated from the other hotels of the area.

everything was pretty much as advertised but the path to the property is completely run down and could benefit with maybe road levelling, cleaning of garbage, and some plants. no complaints about my experience within the property though.

beautiful property in a great location with respect to access to the beach and north cliff. rooms are decorated very aesthetically and are small but cozy. the staff is sweet. breakfast is limited but quite tasty and is served in the space overlooking green pastures. really enjoyed my stay here, would book again.

The shower was a bit disappointing as it was a shower, joined with the toilet, and the hot water was out the tap into a bucket. If you like cold showers, then this isn't a problem. Our double bed was 2 single joined beds.

The room was adequate and clean, nothing wow but then again the price is budget friendly. It's definitely better than a hostel. The host was kind and welcoming. The location is walking distance from all the restaurants you would need and the beach as well.

The room was very nicely decorated. The bed was very good but took up a little to much room so we felt we didn't have to much room to move. Also, since we had reserved the room 6 months earlier, we had expected to have seeview or garden view. Instead we faced the aquarium. But that said on the negative side, the two guys who were the daily management did an excellent job. They were very friendly and willing to help with anything we asked so the overall experience is really positive.

It felt quiet at times without many staff around. Staff offered to do laundry which was great, but we found our drying clothes lying on the floor of the roof terrace collecting muck and dust. Stray dogs were able to roam the property and could be defensive at times.

Amazing location close to black beach and the main stretch of restaurants on Varkala cliff (but far enough away that it wasn’t noisy). Comfortable room. Friendly staff who helped to arrange surfing and our early morning airport transfer. Nice tasty South Indian breakfast with a beautiful view.

A few brief spells without electricity and a few mornings we woke up without any water. All were fixed quickly once we got in touch

Very cute property. In the best location along the seafront, slightly away from the bars and restaurants on the cliff but right on the beach still and with everything easily walkable. Breakfast was 10/10 keralan food and fresh fruit. The surf classes were really well run with smaller size groups, and I felt that we got better attention in our lessons to others on the beach with us. Had loads of fun.

Room size. And unfortunately Google map glitches once you reach and takes you a little in circles. Can be extremely frustrating because you it is extremely hot to be stranded and searching.

Everything about point break was good. Laid back, comfortable, and friendly folks. The rooms are insta worthy and aesthetic, and would have been absolutely perfect if the room was a little bigger. With 2 people, it gets a little tight for movement and keeping stuff.

Although the listing is accurate, it was disappointing to find that a large ugly building (apparently quite new) is positioned exactly between the hotel and the sea, blocking about 60% of the sea views. This construction means that the shortest path to the shore is a narrow gravel alley between two high concrete walls topped by broken glass. Also unfortunate was the very loud music from a beachside bar on Saturday night, which could not even be blocked out with earplugs. It would have been nice to have tea/coffee options before 8:30 am, which is when breakfast is served. Finally, beware of the rough waves and strong currents in the area that can pose a risk to swimmers. Overall, not a bad choice but overpriced given these drawbacks.

This small hotel is well designed and rooms are stylish and comfortable with spacious porches. Breakfast was good, served in a sitting area with great views over a narrow green gorge where many birds hang out - great for birdwatchers! It is a short walk to the seashore, with both rocky sections that are hard to access and sandy beach areas a bit farther away.

Almost everything is poor Very bad room. Not having the basic amenities like tv, tea cattle etc. Location is in completely outskirt. No shops or anything nearby. You have to walk around 10 mins to north cliff for everything. No reception. No guest care. Rooms have insects. No hotel staff is there after evening. It is a major security concern. Dogs cut our clothes. Breakfast is very poor. No other food option . You have to order food from outside. Overall very bad experience and not at all recommended
