Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The front desk could have been a bit more accommodating. We arrived in a mini-bus, which was initially not allowed to be parked inside the premises. After a long drive from Amritsar, the discussion felt unnecessary, aaespecially since they eventually agreed to allow it.
We stayed for one night during our transit to Vaishno Devi. The location was perfect—well-suited to our travel plans and conveniently close to McLeodganj, where we planned to spend a day exploring Dharamshala. The property is set in a stunning landscape, offering breathtaking views of Dharamshala and direct access to a beautiful river right from the hotel premises. Everyone in our group truly loved the setting and ambiance. The rooms were spacious, clean, and provided ample privacy, making for a very comfortable stay. The property also served a decent breakfast, giving us a great start to our day.

Upon arriving at the property, I was initially uncertain about whether I had chosen the right place for my stay. The exterior of the building was quite unappealing, and to make matters worse, the primary elevator was out of service. This forced us to use the service elevator, which was unpleasantly odorous. However, my perception shifted dramatically as our stay progressed. To my delight, the staff surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to a spacious river-view room. The room was impressively large, providing ample space for my toddler to explore and play freely without any worries. Additionally, the television was fully operational with a wide selection of channels, which was a definite bonus for our family entertainment. While there was no breakfast buffet available, we were pleased to find that we could select meals from a thoughtful breakfast menu. The convenience of having our breakfast served directly in our room was a lovely touch that made our mornings much more relaxing. Check-in and check-out were remarkably efficient, allowing us to settle in and depart without any hassle. Our room boasted a stunning view of the river, and the property offered direct access to its banks. This allowed us to enjoy some quality time by the water, soaking in the picturesque surroundings. Overall, despite the initial concerns, my experience at this property turned out to be quite pleasant, especially given the reasonable price we paid. I would certainly consider returning to this location for another stay.

All is great

I liked the location the view riverside space was amazing I totally loved it … its the best place to stay in Dharamshala with family, friends or spouse or kids… kids gonna love this property due to the riverside location. The staff was so helpful in everything and humble. The restaurant has breathtaking views with good food..

Excellent and courteas staff. Spacious rooms. Their restaurant is superb. The food quality was great. Chef made us Thupka which was not part of the menu.

Parking space may fall short, at full occupancy
The hotel is very clean and all the amenities were fully functional, staff was very friendly and were ready to customise things wherever possible. The location of resturant is awesome and glass walls gives excellent outside view. The food is nice.
