Its proximity to the lake and main market street made walking there and exploring very easy. Great view from balcony seats of all the religious goings on in the evening.

I understand it is a historical hotel that keeps with the antiquity of the style, but I would have loved a more comfortable chair outside of our room to enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery. I still did regardless.

The Pushkar Palace is ideally located right on the lake, with stunning views. Our room was very well appointed with great amenities, including an incredibly comfortable bed. We slept very well! The staff were excellent, and we even arranged with the front desk for the best driver to take us onward to Udaipur.

The food seemed a bit lack lustre

The location of the property was great . The rooms had a particular authenticity that gave it a days gone by feel .

This is a great holiday with faded glory but first class location, friendly staff and very reasonably priced. The rooms are all you need for a two night stay in charming Pushkar. I was here 5 years ago, little has changed except there is a new terrace. You get what you pay for but this hotel has a great feel to how the days of the Maharaj of Kishangarh were. You cannot have a better location - overlooking the lake, with direct view to the most beautiful sunsets and sunrises.

The air-conditioning unit was quite old and very noisy!

We didn't eat in the restaurant (not even breakfast) so cannot say what it was like. The hotel has enormous character. Beautiful old wooden chests of drawers and paintings. Very quiet. Lovely garden. Excellent location on the lake and right by the main street with all the shops.

Excellent location, facing and very close to Lake Pushkar, great opportunity to watch the fire pooja by the pandits, the genuine kindness and warmth of all members of staff at the hotel. Enjoyed the experience, walking and shopping in the colourful nearby bazars

Needs an update. Ageing furniture and, like most local hotels, ancient wiring and electrics. Lake front suite doesn't have a view but there is a beautiful wide verandah with cane furniture.

Location is brilliant being right on the lake. Sitting out at breakfast looking over the beautiful lake while Hindi music wafts across the water was an experience I won't soon forget.

The best location in Pushkar..... Totally stunning. And the best piece is that they have got their garden back, which has the best view of the sunset.

The beds were hard and the room lacked expected inclusions.We asked for the towels,mugs and tea and coffee we needed when we arrived but the next day they had all disappeared. The rooftop restaurant is expensive and not very good.

The location is perfect right on the lake.The shower was nice and hot.
