We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Hong KongHotel didn't acknowledge our booking via Booking.com, refused to give a room, even though we had a booking confirmation email and shown confirmation via website. Staff refused to help at first, asking to make on-site booking if room required. Manager finally gave room but after 2 hours of unnecessary hassle. Rooms were ok, but bad experience as a result.
