CanadaI am very sensitive to drinking water. At the time of check-in staff mentioned 2 bottles of water per day is complimentary. The next day was my checkout, so on the day of checkout I asked for water. They said it is chargeable. I was like, how you expect a person to survive on 1 litre water per day and i am asking water the next day, i deserve my 1 litre of bottled water as the date is changed. Then they agreed to give water. I mean why struggle for such basic human need, water.
I like the overall stay, and my need for a late checkout, staff accommodated. Happy and thankful about it.

United KingdomWhen was going to checkout, they said they will check the room, I was called to the desk and only be told the tv remote control is cracked, and that I have to pay, I didn’t even watch tv as we spent majority of the time at harmandir sahib. I always stop at the Ramada on my visit to amristar. If I did cause a crack in the remote control, I would have been honest and told the staff. I was disappointed with this little matter. In future when I stay I will be taking a pictures of room and all items, so will not be accused of this situation. It had left me very upset.

Hong KongThe Architecture and design as well as the decoration have a classical, cosy atmosphere. We stayed in a quiet room (128) in the middle of the wing, what we indeed enjoyed, for we value quietness and tranquility over view or others. Clean and tidy room. After one month traveling in India, staying from Home-stays to five stars hotels in Delhi, we definitely liked the convenience of the Ramada hotel (close to everything and surrounded by shops and restaurants) and its service: receptionists and other staff are professional and always prompt to help. The food: we tried there the best chicken biryani in India, for dinner. And the breakfast is much more better than many European hotels of this class. We enjoyed the food.

Hong KongI wish some of the other customer facing employees are more relaxed and smile instead of giving blank stares. The guests here are not routine business travellers, but family and old people who come from far flung places to visit the temple city, and it would be very welcoming and reassuring gesture. I guess a little training would solve this issue.
Location is perfect as it is walking distance from the temple and other important areas. It is very clean and efficiently run property. The rooms are adequate in size with comfortable beds and well appointed bathrooms. The room service, housekeeping and breakfast are of good standard. The guard at the entrance to the main lobby greets you with the widest of smiles every time you come into the hotel. The cafe at the lobby level serves good tea/ coffee and snacks.

Stayed here as hotel initially booked was very poor and needed a quick fix as we refused to stay in our first choice (yes we were scammed but as we had not paid it cost us nothing!). However was a great swap as we both fell ill (flu or covid potentially) and it was a very comfortable hotel to be in when under the weather. Location was great as it was only a short walk to Amritsar main attractions. Food also good and not crazy expensive.
