Rambler’s Nesting Homestay is blessed with best view of Darjeeling. The picturesque view of Kanchenjunga is right in front from the corridor. Mr. Rajesh Pradhan is gem of a person. He is one of the best host I ever had and he feels like a family member. Thank you Rajesh Pradhan ji for your hospitality. I would recommend Rambler’s nesting homestay for anyone visiting Darjeeling. I would rate this place 10/10 and better than 5 star hotels

Sabita and her husband Rakesh are extremely friendly. They helped me with everything and always gave good advice. The rooms were very clean, the food was always freshly prepared. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I felt very well. The view was breathtaking. I felt very comfortable and I wholeheartedly recommend this homestay.

The environment of the whole campus is very soothing and calm. Cleanliness is awesome. Well maintained. Food was too good! The owner is also a very nice guy.

We had a memorable stay at Rambler's, breathtaking views from the room, balcony and terrace. Food was amazing, freshly homemade. The rooms are clean, well decorated and cozy. From the window we were able to see Kanchanjangha range as the weather was good. Facilities like wifi, room heater, tv are available. Our host Mr.and Mrs. Pradhan was very polite, friendly and very helpful. They arranged the pick up, sightseeing and drop for us in reasonable price. Highly recommended for a stay with family and friends.

Location: Even though it was 10 minutes by shared jeep ride to Darjeeling town, the rides are frequent and cheap. The homestay is in a quiet spot and it has lovely views onto the town, hills and mountains. The hosts mr Rajesh and his wife are congenial, kind and helpful. The food is homely and hits the spot. The staff are very good.

The homestay was fantastic, offering excellent service, delicious food, stunning scenery, and genuine hospitality. Mr. Pradhan went out of his way to assist with transportation, amenities, and meals. The home had a very warm atmosphere along with excellent scenery from the balcony and terrace. Notably, when we faced difficulty getting transport to the mall area, Mr. Pradhan personally stepped in and arranged it promptly. He also took care of our transportation for sightseeing. The home-cooked meals prepared by Mrs. Pradhan and the staff were a delight, served promptly; occasionally to our room. The diverse food options showcased local ingredients and culture, adding to our satisfaction. The homestay's cozy Christmas decor created a warm atmosphere, and we appreciated the personal invitation for dinner, providing an opportunity to bond over casual conversations.

- A minor issue was to reach the place. The last 200m or so is through a very steep climb. If you have a lot of luggage it may be little difficult to reach. Without luggage it's a fairly easy to climb by walk on the steep road. ( Could be challenging for older people)

- Room is very clean and the View is Excellent! - On a clear day Kanchenjunga range very clearly visible, Looks beautiful during sunrise. - Bed warmers made the night comfortable. - As Vegetarians we ordered rice, Chapatis/Rotis(Wheat), Dal and some veg sabzi. The food is prepared fresh and served hot. The food was both tasty and had a home like feeling. - The hosts Mr & Ms Pradhan were very kind and helpful.

The hosts were fantastic and helped me with everything. They helped me plan out my days with taxis/tours and made great food every day. The view from the room was fantastic and I felt comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend, I want to go back already!

The room and service were outstanding, offering a breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga, mountains, clouds, and the city from the balcony and terrace. My stay felt like experiencing Darjeeling from the comfort of home. I highly recommend this homestay for anyone visiting Darjeeling, even if just for a day – it's a truly wonderful experience!

The location is a bit outside the main town. The taxi station (I used shared taxis) is right below the homestay, but it is a steep hike from the road to the homestay. It can get a bit noisy from the road.

The place is well maintained, the room was very nice with big windows toward the view. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The mattres was a little hard, but not too uncomfortable. I had to ask for a kettle so that I could make my own coffee rather than relying on buying it from the homestay - so in room kettle would be a great idea.

Friendly place to stay with great views from my balcony. Any questions about the area or onward travels were efficently helped by the homestay owners.
