The property is very rich and comfortable for stay. However, as far as the food is concerned, it is little difficult to get the dinner at night as the mess is not open at the time. The staff is very co-operative and humble. Overall it is nice place to stay.

We had tea and coffee from there and it was little expensive.

From the property varkala cliff is around 2km and other beaches are also around same distance. So by walk or by car it will take less time to reach there. We got 2 rooms with ac and the bedroom is larger than I imagined and it was well maintained and was cleaner. Caretaker was good. Overall it was a good stay.

I visited Rams guest house with my Mom. Its really very nice place. Its near to black sand beach and Varkala cliff. We had very good Kerala lunch here. Staff is very supportive and polite. I was there only for one night and covered nearest sight seeing. I had good time in this guest house.

Google map location not accurate. Better contact them on whatsapp to get accurate location, s☺️gn board photos to get an idea in advance. Otherwise there is trend among auto drivers to misguide you and ride you to other hotels for getting commission. Auto may say we are not sure of location, it is too far etc. I am telling this from my own experience.

I recommend this peaceful guest house to visitors coming to Varkala away from noise and crowd. Many hotels guest houses in cliff, odayam, black beach so noisy and cant retire to bed peacefully. This property is situated on main road, all the beaches are in 1 km radius. Auto rikshaws are available on call and no need to wait for long. In house home made breakfast lunch and dinner available on pre order. They use coconout oil, olive oil for cooking and hence slightly costlier but that gives a guarantee for clean healthy food. Your trip wont be spoiled becuase of unhealthy food ingredients. They own 7 properties in Trivandrum and their experience is added asset to the hospitality service provider. The reception staff is very silent and supportive to guest needs. Overall i m extremely happy to be here, in all future visits Rams guest house is going to be my preferred place.

Apart from basic amenities like fan, ac, tv and clean room & toilet, nothing else was provided. Forget the toiletries, even drinking water was not provided inside the room. For water, the receptionist said that there's a cooler inside the kitchen. Wasn't really expecting that. While booking a stay, towel, toothbrush and soap are the basic thing that must be provided. Also, the bed on the King size bed was turned upside down, putting the rough side on top.

Room was spacious. Basic amenities like TV, AC and fan were good.
