I liked everything. The only thing which would have made it even better was getting a beer while sailing in backwaters. Unfortunately there was no option of that but it is understandable.

It was a great experience . The boat was very clean and well prepared. The backwaters were incredibly beautiful. We also bought crab on the way and the chef Anthony was very happy to cook it. Everything was perfect. We had an early flight back and they were nice to call a taxi at a different location so that we reach airport on time

The boat was traditional and very well maintained with clean bathrooms, good size bedrooms with AC, and amazing common areas including an upper deck. The food and service by Mahesh, Vipin and Prince were outstanding, and the Kerala backwaters are stunningly serene and beautiful.

The office manager sitting inside the cubicle was extremely unhelpful. We needed WiFi to connect while settling the bill and he was quite dismissive. For an institution catering to foreign tourists not having such basic things is not ideal

We had a wonderful experience on the 3 bed houseboat with upper deck. Staff were professional and hospitable catering to all needs. The menu was customised based on our preferences. The trip on the canoe through the narrow backwaters was the highlight of the trip. We will definitely come back.

We loved everything! This was probably the highlight of our entire trip to India. The boat exceeded expectations in terms of comfort, the crew were delightful, the food delicious and the scenery fascinating as well as beautiful and serene. We were also treated to an unexpected canoe trip into the tiny channels our house boat couldn't reach and enjoyed a wonderful window into life on the backwaters. We saw many house boats during our 6 days in the Alleppey area and the Xandari boats are up there at the very top in terms of quality. We discovered the service they provide is second to none too!

The houseboat was amazing and and it was a pleasant and wonderful journey. We had the trip of our life with Xandari. The captain Sony, Chief cook Sanjith and kannan make us feel like kings. We bought shrimps on the way, enjoyed a shirodhara massage and had a very relaxing peaceful trip. We will come back. 10 stars for the food! It was the best food we had. Leave your phone in you bag!

The location of the Xandari office under the bridge can be missed. The narrow road under the bridge leading to the office can be very congested with all the vehicles/tourist transportation and creates a massive traffic issues.

The breakfast was simple yet taste good. Well Prepared. The tour itself going through the backwaters was very fascinating. Most part of the boat was always kept clean.

The overnight docking area was expected to be a "resort with a swimming pool and indoor games" but unfortunately it was basically a home with a unmaintained pool and very dusty and dirty room for indoor games.

Food and service on board the houseboat was very homely and well prepared. Hosts and staff were courteous. The houseboat itself was very well maintained and clean.
