Not too many eating options nearby, but not really an issue.

The hostel is located in a quiet neighbourhood and is a great option if you are looking for a comfortable relaxing stay. The bunks are spacious and very comfortable and there are ample showers and toilets. The wifi is good and free water is available in the guest kitchen. The hostel is a short 15-minute walk from the Palace.

A lovely heritage building in a quiet area, with good communal areas for relaxation, and some stylish touches. Clean. Low cost laundry - wish I'd saved mine 'til I arrived. Able to check in early, and there's a place to store luggage after check out. Decent mossie screens on the bedroom windows plus plug-in repellent. Comfortable bed. A few negatives (which could easily be remedied) - no loo roll in the bathrooms, no hot water in the women's bathroom. My private room had no lock on the door, only 1 power socket, no hooks, hangers or mirror, and an annoying click on the fan which meant I couldn't sleep with it on. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Staff let someone into my room very early in the morning and didn't seem that considerate of the fact someone was sleeping in there.

I really enjoyed my stay here, it was very clean and looked almost new however the staff said it was actually an old building. They clearly take good care of it and clean it daily. My bed was comfy and I loved my room which had 2 floors- a little loft area I thought was nice. Staff were helpful in providing me a towel as I left mind behind at the last hostel. Lots of communal space where I was able to do yoga.

The vibe was kind of strange not really welcoming. You couldn't adjust the fan in the female dormitory upstairs so you had full power or switch it off.

It is a clean place with hot showers in a beautiful old building. The location is good 5 to 10min drive to the palace and there are a some restaurants close by.

I get the sense there could be a good hostel atmosphere but I was turned off by people playing music in the common area until after midnight. This was frustrating because the dorm is right off of the common area - they were a few meters away from the door. Thankfully I have good earplugs but I was surprised the staff didn’t intervene to enforce the quiet hours (10pm). It was also very expensive relative to most hostels I’ve stayed at with similar facilities.

The property is lovely and well located. The facilities are decent and clean.

Nothing. I wish i could stay longer. If possible, please start with an in-house kitchen.

I recently stayed at Roambay for three days, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in terms of quality and hospitality.
