I’m almost reluctant to review Rococo so well, because I’m worried it will be so busy I won’t get another booking. My Father and I traveled around Goa and had the time of our lives- Almost everywhere was fantastic- the culture, the vibe and especially the people. We were having so much fun ducking from place to place and staying in every different type of accommodation possible. We genuinely thought that our trip couldn’t get any better and so we took what we considered to be a ‘risk’ and booked Rococo. From the very first second we checked in we were absolutely devoted to the place. Throughout our time there we met and became friends with a huge selection of people that had stayed at the hotel before and were simply visiting “swinging through” to have a drink and reminisce because they, like us had found this spot to be the central hub of their entire holiday... We ended up not only extending our stay, but (upon realising they were fully booked to extend any longer) ended up booking as close by as we could to ensure that we could keep returning to enjoy the incredible bar, kitchen, vibe and most pivotally the staff- who we now deem as true, true friends. It really is one of those places that you need to see and feel to truly appreciate. How can you ‘review’ a place that is so overwhelmingly beautiful, charismatic, charming and ‘homely’? I consider myself well travelled, and coupled with my Father; there’s not many spots on the globe we haven’t visited. I hold Rococo up there with my most favorite of places ever. The friends we made amongst staff and traveler’s are connections we’ll always and forever hold close. This truly is a sensationally wondrous spot- the staff cannot do enough to look after and out for you. The location is PERFECT. The food is on another level (just try the steak and tell me it isn’t up there with the finest)- the rest of the menu is vast and simply ‘perfect’.

The staff were helpful and polite. The restaurant has high quality food for anytime in the day with highlight the BBQed fresh fish every night. Great location, family and relaxed atmosphere. I will stay again.

It’s very noisy, particularly the beach facing rooms as they aren’t properly insulated. You hear everything from the bar, and from the kitchen. We were only there for a couple of nights so was absolutely fine for us; if you’re there for longer you might want to suggest a non-sea view room.

Disturbed by others returning. One longer-term stayer had taken over the shelving in shower room.

I stayed around New Year (everywhere was busy & expensive), so chose this shared dorm for 6 rather than beach huts. Affordable for 4 nights (around the cost of a good quality homestay in Kerala a month earlier). It was a few metres to their beach restaurant & others, and most places I wanted to go (swim, yoga class, plant food eating, Ayurvedic massage, beach walks, shops) were mainly 5-20mns walk. The bathroom! I know it’s basic however it really needed either a good clean or a refresh. The taps were covered in limescale and scum, the walls looked like they’d had damp or mould painted over them.

The property is situated right on the beach in a great location, it has a buzzing atmosphere whilst being relaxed. Staff super friendly and the food is amazing. The room we stayed in gave incredible views, especially the sunset.

Plumbing is old, had leakage issues from the bathroom but view makes up for it.
