The place is a hidden gem in the heart of Goa, here you can find your space to relax away from any noise, it has a beautiful garden, AC, hot water, high speed internet, the room is big an it has a fridge. Big plus, daily cleaning! The host is very kind and they will help you with anything you need!

We had a truly wonderful stay here. And made really special memories we will cherish. This is a special guesthouse indeed. The accommodation provided everything we needed for a relaxing and hassle-free stay: a comfortable bed, immaculate cleanliness (our room was thoroughly cleaned daily), a large fridge, ample storage, air conditioning and a fan, as well as a good sized bathroom with a nice shower. We slept very soundly every night and always enjoyed coming back to this tranquil and relaxing place after a day at the beach or exploring Goa. Beyond the amenities, what really sets this place apart and makes it incredibly special is the warmth, hospitality and dedication of Nandita and her mother. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as enjoyable, personal and memorable as possible. Their invaluable tips about the best day trips in the region, the best restaurants and cafés, how best to get around, and hidden gems in the area transformed our experience. Our trip simply wouldn’t have been the same without their local knowledge. The location is ideal: centrally positioned yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Calangute, offering a peaceful retreat both at night and during the daytime. Set back in a beautiful private garden, far from passing traffic, it felt like a tranquil oasis. It is just a short, pleasant walk to the beach, where we enjoyed amazing sunsets sat in one of the laid-back beach bars. We were genuinely sad to leave and definitely intend to come back and stay here again - hopefully for longer next time!

Nandita was super helpful and always went out of her way to help us. Whenever we had any questions or issues she replied straight away and sorted it. She gave us loads of recommendations of restaurants, things to do and places to see in Goa. She also helped us to rent a scooter and organise a day tour to the Dudhsagar falls. Her mother was also very friendly and always came to chat to us when she saw us. The room was as described and got cleaned everyday, it was very spacious and never got too hot. The place is in a great location, only a 5 minute walk from the beach and also walkable to all the busy areas without having to deal with any noise. There’s a big garden and terrace for outdoor seating. The area is all secure with a gate and is just off the main road. There’s also Nandita’s numerous cats and dogs that are friendly.

It was such a lovely stay; it would have been great if we had more time there. The property is very quiet and clean, and you have direct access to your room from a beautiful, green garden. Outside the room, there is a sitting area overlooking the garden, with chairs and a table, so you can relax or enjoy a meal there. There is also a small kitchen in the garden available for guests, where you can prepare your own food. This was a real blessing for us, as one of us got food poisoning, and we really needed some safe food. Nandita, the owner, is the most helpful and caring host ever. She gave us recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. She was also incredibly supportive when one of us got sick, providing local probiotics and checking in several times to see if the situation had improved. She even allowed us to store our belongings in the room and use it after check-out (for free), as we had a late flight and there were no other reservations for that day. Additionally, she arranged a taxi for us back to the airport. Nandita’s father was also very friendly and welcomed us when we arrived. We are truly grateful for the hospitality we experienced, and if we ever return to Goa, we would love to stay there again. It’s definitely a place we highly recommend. As for the location, the property is situated on a side street off the main road, where you can find all kinds of shops and restaurants. As it is on a side street, you get all the peace and quiet you want, so you can enjoy a relaxing evening in the garden and sleep without disturbance and at the same time whenever you want to do something fun go to the main road, and check out some shops, bars, restaurants. Thus, location is perfect! Besides, the property is also very close to the beach, just a few minutes away, and you can easily return to the property for a short break during the day. Wi-Fi works perfectly, and you can take a warm shower at any time of the day!

No toilet paper in the restroom, but this isn't the problem.

The host, Nandita, was very friendly and helpful, she was answering every question and helping with food/activities suggestions. Location was great, there were restaurants and beach nearby. Free drinking water, AC, fridge. Everything was good. Big room with big bed. I really enjoyed staying there and I would definitely come back.

Owners are very hospitable. They kept checking if we were comfortable. Very rare to find a well maintained garden in bagga. Vintage house and good place and it's worth the price.

Our stay at Rodrigues Guest House did not feel like an impersonal hotel stay. The hosts are warm, caring and considerate of special needs, especially since we travelled with our 10 month old boy. The Guest House is part of the larger Rodrigues Residence, all of which are a heritage Portuguese construction. The room was neat, peaceful, extra spacious and facing a lush green and well maintained garden. There was covered parking inside the property for our rented car. The location is very convenient for a minutes walk to the bustling Baga/Calangute market, 3 minute walk to the beach, or quickly connecting to northern districts of Baga, Anjuna, Mapusa. Our Lady of Piety chapel is also very close.

The property is located nearby Shops, Restaurants etc., also five mins walkable to Calangute beach. The host is very friendly and supportive and was very kind enough to help and guide me with the local places and restaurants. Will definitely prefer to stay here next time too

The stay felt like home. We had a fantastic time at the stay. The stay is walkable to calangute beach , Tito’s lane and Baga beach. Also, the property has a history attached to it. The property owners were very welcoming and they treat you like a family. I would definitely recommend this stay. I would love to come back in the future. Thank you for the great hospitality.

We liked everything 👌

Super location near the beach but in the quiet place😉 very clean, comfortable, big room and bathroom 👌 Room has AC, fridge and kettle. Also it is possible to use small kitchen outside 😉 Outside there is a big garden and a small terrace with chairs so you can drink tea or coffee there in the morning 😉 we liked everything there 😉 The hosts are friendly and helpful 😉

Room was cleaned every day and they look corespondent to the pictures. P.s. Awesome Baga Deck restaurant and bar that was just around the corner open 24/7 (recommended by Nandita) and the beach is close

Never met such a courteous guest house keepers. I had booked this for my in laws on their first visit to Goa but was a little hesitant about the property. But right from their arrival upto their check out, I was all relaxed since Nandita ma’am took care of them and every other detail. She really didn’t leave a chance to make my parents feel at home. Definitely recommended for every next stay here. Perks: closer to one of the most beautiful beaches in Goa. Various food options around.
