Maintenance and upkeep needs huge improvements. Toilet seat cover hinge broken . Bids spray was leaking.

There is no longer a restaurant at this property. Breakfast was provided but was not great quality and no western options apart from toast.

The rooms were comfortable but the windows are quite small with no view. Good location to visit the temples a short walk away.

The horrible smell in the bathroom because of lack of ventilation. Lack of an in-house restaurant. Though kettles are provided, tea coffee sachet are not provided. No mini-fridge. Understaffed hotel, and the staff, though nice, are overworked.

As they don't have a full fledged restaurant or room service they could keep sachets of Coffee and Tea. They already have a water kettle in the room!

The rooms are spacious and clean. Airconditioning was very good. One thing that stands out is their location. You can walk to the Railway Station and to the West Tower of Meenakshi Amman Temple. Staff are friendly.

The breakfast timings, the complementary water bottle, etc., could have been informed at the time of check-in. We missed breakfast on the first day.

The staff was flexible with the check-in time. As I was late I called up the property and they obliged and kept the booking.

The system for turning lights/fan on and off did not seem to work properly - could not have light on without having very loud and cold fan going. My room was clean and comfortable but I think there may have been some sort of animal living under the tables in the main hall way

Very good location and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast - small choice of items but everything delicious. Helpful to know straight away that payment is cash only.

They misinformed us by saying everything will be shut on Deepavali day, which was completely wrong.

Overall a nice property. Location is good - close to the railway station and not far from Meenakshi temple. But there is no restaurant or room service but there are restaurants around this hotel. On check in, staff really scared us by saying on Deepavali no food will be available as all the restaurants and shops will be shut and we should keep some fruits and bread for that day. Luckily our driver told me `no need to worry, restaurants will be open'. Yes, shops & restaurants were open and we got food and did shopping as well. They should not misguide the guests like this.

The sofa in the room was very dirty and could not be sat upon. Bathroom was not very clean and there were small cockroaches. There was no kitchen even for basics like coffee/tea in the morning. The facility was not available in the room too.

The main hotel restaurant which apparently used to do evening meals is currently not open.

The Hotel is in an excellent location especially for the railway station which is about a five minute walk, the bed was very comfortable and the room had all that was needed. It is also about a 15 minute walk to the Meenakshi Amman temple down via lively and interesting streets. There is also a bar about 100m from the hotel which was fine for a quick beer. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast was excellent with a range of South Indian dishes as well as other choices.

They didn't accept card payments. There is no other choice so as a foreigner we paid cash.

Great Location. Rameshwaram Temple is within walking distance. The staff are nice and friendly, but they don't understand English. Rest is fine.
