The room was a bit chilly on arrival but seemed to warm up after a day or two.

Location is spectacular. Room a very good size. Cafe-style food tasty and varied (Japanese, Tibetan, Indian). The total bill for 6 nights, 4 evening meals and 3 breakfasts was not even £150, so it was fantastic value.

Rinzin and Takea are very nice hosts. They make guests feel at home. There is much warmth in their hospitality. I was very happy, especially with the bedding being very clean :) Their Veg Sushi was yum.

The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. When staying at the hotel we attended an IPL game at the HPCS which is about 6km away, the hosts organised a Taxi to take us to the stadium and collect us after the game.

Everything at Sakura was so amazing, the staff, the services, and the food was exceptional. Experience at Sakura is just enough and perfect to shake all your stress away from the daily hustle of life. A must have experience .

The mayyrass was too soft for us. We prefer a very firm mattrass which is not common even in the best hotels Also hot water for shower was great but short time

1. Nestled in a magnificent Himalayan country views, the Sakura home stay is a real hidden gem !! Spotless big room with a large window to enjoy the mountains and fields . A small balcony also which was very nice 2. The hotel team are very nice and attentive to all our needs. This is the ONLY HOME STAY THAT REALLY RESPECTS VISA WITH NO STORIES ON FUNCTIONING PROBLEMS OF CARD MACHINE!! THEY ALSO DO NOT ASK FOR EXTRA CHARGES AS IN MANY OTHER PLACES !! A RARE FIND INDEED !! 3. The food is very tasty. We had ramen soup which was delicious

The road is narrow and parking space is not available for Tempo Traveller Mirror was not there in the room.

We liked the food… They served awesome food. We had our breakfast at the hotel and tried almost all the menu. All are good, specially Pancake and fresh fruit juice. Also liked the library.

The location is wonderful - so close to Norbulingka! It is a small, clean, lovely property. The restaurant serves some excellent Tibetan and Japanese food. The staff is warm and helpful, and the ambience is homely.

My room faced the road. So I could hear traffic (which is not a lot given that the guesthouse is on a small inner road) and people talking downstairs and on the road. Its not the worst, but not quiet. Nights are quiet though. The fan in my room upon was not working. The owner called an electrician to fix the fan. The geyser was also not working so not hot water. This should be checked by the management before renting the room. Bot the fan and the geyser not working reflects badly on the management and staff. The owner kept saying - I didn't know. Well, she should know, shouldn't she? If the facilities in the room are not working? They did send an electrician but overall management was a little lax for both the issues.

Lovely cozy clean good vibration place. The owner - a Japanese lady - is friendly and helpful. So is the staff. The bed and the sheets are lovely - so comfortable and most importantly clean and washed! Bathroom is clean and everything works. The balcony in my room has a lovely sunset view. The food is also fantastic and reasonably priced. Its a stone's throw from Norbulingka and few nice restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely stay here again.
