We stayed at Sandra Eco’s with our boys at 8 and 10, and we had a wonderful stay. It is a very green and peaceful place with a lovely atmosphere. The pool was nice and cool placed in shady surroundings. Five minutes walk to the beach. The manager and staff were so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place.

Not a complaint-a correction: The listing on booking.com says there is no wifi. There IS wifi

We are 2 Australian travellers, 3 weeks in India, Sandra Eco was a highlight. Great quiet location. 3 minutes walk to Odeyam Beach, a 10 minute stroll to the lifeguard patrolled Black Beach.New room, excellent AC and fan, good WIFI and the biggest and best bathroom we’ve had since we arrived. Our room had a balcony with a view of the lovely gardens and the frog-filled wetland. Our host, Unni, was extremely helpful. From arranging scooter hire, a massage and even a lunch delivery when we arrived exhausted. Breakfast is included and Sandhya’s cooking is amazing. Every day a different treat! And, with 24 hours notice: a delightful keralan meal was prepared!

We’ve been really well received and taken care of by the staff and the owner of the place, Unni. The swimming pool was very much appreciated. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is very close to Odayam beach, only 5 minutes by walk.

Sandra Eco is a lovely verdant Cul de Sac in Varkala with all the amenities in walking distance. We really enjoyed sitting by the pool, listening to the wind in the trees. Mongoose playing in the garden, butterflies and birds. Rooms are spacious and clean with AC and a nice bathroom. Staff is very helpful and nice. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location surrounded by nature, the sounds of birds and the ocean. Only a short walk from the peaceful and quiet Odayam Beach with one of the best yoga teachers in India - Siva- doing daily classes just 2 minutes walk away. But the best part of our stay was the incredible hospitality from the staff and management. Thank you Umi and Saddis. The customer care was second to none. We would highly recommend!

It is cash only and the nearest ATM is about ~30 mins walking (or 5 mins by tuktuk).

This place was really great. It wasn't luxury (some bugs etc), but it was extremely peaceful and quiet and clean. The staff were attentive (but not overbearing) and they brought breakfast and coffee right to my doorstep each morning. They also helped me arrange a very inexpensive massage (plus transportation to it) and transportation to the airport. The nearby beach was gorgeous and had very few people around, and the property itself was also quiet and pretty. I would definitely stay here again, and hopefully for longer!

Sandra eco is a great spot to stay as it is tucked away amongst lush nature and away from the noisy roads. The staff were exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was great. It was clean and comfortable, and great value for money.
