The neighbourhood wasn't ideal, while on a main road there weren't many shops close by as the main buildings were hospitals and a big school. But public transport and bus station were close. Drain in the shower was blocked unfortunately too but not a major problem

Great sized room that was well designed, stocked and had a great window / lots of natural light. Restaurant / room service was very good quality and reasonably priced too. As was the breakfast high quality.

Very nice room, very clean. We chose a location a little from the center, because it's less busy. It was perfect for that (20min car journey to the temple) and there was parking space. The included breakfast was also good (continental + Indian buffet). We didn't hear any noise from outside.

Unfortunately, no hair dryer was provided. Cleaning could have been better. Breakfast same menu everyday.

Rooms are quite spacious, and the a/c worked excellent. Bed was very comfortable. Enough amenities provided. Around 15 minutes car/auto ride to the temple. Room services were excellent, and the options were plenty. Breakfast had several options. All the staffs were friendly and happy to help with all the queries we had.

The location is on the other side of the Vaigai River and near to the General Hospital. Hence one would frequently hear the ambulance siren during the night.

Rooms were clean and likeable. Wifi was goof. Breakfast was good and sufficient. Unless specified you would not get traditional south Indian Filter coffee. Lunch was normal and passable. The restaurant serves both Vegetarian and Non-vegetarian, though it was specified to me that kitchens were separate to cater to the needs of pure vegetarians. Overall Stay is good.

Hotel promised two nearby rooms however during check in rooms allotted away from each other indicating no personal attention. Housekeeping was not efficient. Bathroom fittings were not functioning smoothly.

Pretty much everything else. We were given a room that was so dark, we could barely see. This was mainly due to the window being covered in bird shit. The bathroom was dirty. It was dingy and horrible. I complained and we were moved to a better room, but it still had a dirty bathroom and the window fitted so badly, you could see daylight between the frame and the wall! Returning after a long day, no cleaning had been done. We had to ask for housekeeping. Cleaning is very superficial. None of the mirrors had been properly cleaned for a long while.

WiFi was fine and the restaurant was good.

It is difficult to get taxis through Uber from the hotel. That said, the staff will call a ride for you and haggle the price so you do not get ripped off.

I stayed at this hotel on the fourth leg of a month-long trip through south India. I can not tell you how absurdly wonderful my time was here or how they surpassed my expectations. I was allowed to stay in a room with a perfect view of the Meenakshi Temple. The room and laundry service was exceedingly good. The manager seemed kind and respectful. I am honored to have stayed here and recommend this hotel to all travelers.

Our room faced the main road, which made it quite noisy. It would benefit from better noise-reducing windows. Other rooms might not experience the same issue.

The hotel was conveniently located withing 3KM from railway station and Meenakshi temple, making them easily accessable. The restaurant offered a quality, hygienic breakfast with a decent variety. The staff were thoughtful and called to remind us of the breakfast timings, which was much appreciated.

The reception staff informed that the room shown in the picture was not the room that we had booked. Not sure how that works or who is at fault. He told me the room in the photos was of a room that was costlier than the one we booked. Someone has clearly goofed up. Anyway, the rooms were still very good and clean and the service was pretty awesome. The stay was very comfortable and a very decent South Indian breakfast too.

One thing we observed that light is not given beside Mirror for which my wife facing difficulties at the time of make up.

Although location was good the wailing sirens of bringing patients to the hospital next door was sometimes annoying. The hotel could replace the window glasses with thicker ones to make the rooms soundproof.

Great budget hotel. Facilities were good. Staff was courteous. Food at the restaurant was good. The restaurant staff was awesome.

This hotel is maybe getting a bit old and would need to be refreshed a bit.

This hotel is ideally located to visit the main tourist points of Madurai. Even though some staff were struggling with English, they were helpful for our stay. The room was clean overall and well equipped.
