Location was great, close to cliff top restaurants but far enough that is was quiet. Great sized room with useful furniture. Good bed. Roof terrace for drying clothes. Good communication from host.

Instruct the local police to permit those people coming with valid booking easy access without any hindrance at their ridiculous check point near the helipad. Let them use rationale while executing blunders.

I liked everything

We stayed at the hotel for two days, and the stay was fantastic. All the facilities were up to the mark. I would especially mention the staff, Vishnu, who helped us in everything from booking vehicles to showing the area. He is such a great person. I would highly recommend people stay there!

Cons: They don't not provide any amenities like brush, shampoo etc. you will only get towel and body soap. Curtains were transparent, no bathroom Matt was provided. No parking for 4 wheelers. You hardly can park 2 wheelers. They banged the door at 10:30 in the morning to check out at 11. When we said it's mentioned as 11:30 check out in booking.com. They said it's an old timings, now it's 11.

I thought the customer service was relatively poor. Firstly, I had messages asking for my check in time - it felt like it was quite strict. I communicated clearly when I would arrive, yet there was no one at the property and I had to wait. In fact there is almost never someone in the reception - it would be better if there was, because if you need something like toilet paper or the wifi code, the only option is to call the owner - who didn’t answer my call or reply to my message about wifi until I called him later that day a second time. Finally, check out time is 11:00, and at 10:51 the owner called me twice. I messaged to ask if he called, and he said “Yes pls vacate the room I have another guest on the way”. Seems very pushy to be ringing me to ask me to leave before check out time has even passed. Apart from that, it’s a great place to stay

Very modern property - clean, spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed. The AC works great. Location is very convenient - a 5 minute walk to the cliff. But the property is down a quiet street. Definitely a comfortable place to stay!

We stayed for 2 days and have a decent stay with friendly staff. Place is very much near to cliff and has limited two wheeler parking facility. They allowed us early check in at extra price and no four wheeler parking facility. Overall good budget stay nearby varkala cliff.

It's a nice property. Walking distance to the cliff/beach. Parking is at the helipad. The owner and the caretaker both are very humble and caring. Very affordable prices for the said property. Addition of toiletries would be a plus. Good experience overall.

The access of 30 m to the building from road is a narrow lane wide enough for two wheelers. But then, most hotels or home stays in Varkala have narrow lane access.

It is a new building and every thing was spic and span. The room and linen was very clean.It was a very comfortable stay. It is 200 meters from the Helipad which is on the cliff overlooking the beach below. All the action in Varkala starts from the cliff road staring from Helipad. Beach is walking distance. The caretaker was very helpful. He handled our suitcases both ways from the road. We saw a peacock on the roof of next building in the evening.

It was very good and the staff was very friendly. Car parking only available in beach which is just in walkable distance and the staff really helped taking the luggage in his bike. Room was very clean.
