How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We arrived in Ayodhya around 11 pm due to the Vande Bharat being delayed by about 10 hours. We arrived in Ranopali close to midnight and there was no signage to direct us to the homestay. We met some wonderful strangers in the area who led us to the homestay. On the morning of our checkout there was a big family that checked in during the early hours of the morning (probably around 4 am). Their noise levels were unbearable so much so that the other guests were forced to wake up at that time. The Hosts made no effort to reason with them or request them to be quieter. They also demanded breakfast which resulted in us getting breakfast around 11am. The guest house can accommodate about 30 people but it is evident that aunty and uncle do not have sufficient staff or means to cater to the needs for large groups or multiple guests.
Breakfast was simple - options were butter toast or poha with tea or coffee. Aunty and Uncle make the breakfast in their kitchen and serve it in your room or in the dining area.

No windows, not worth except that the location is prime plus not much options available for dinner, and lunch is simply not available. They ask to do swiggy/zomato.
Prime location and easy access to all other attraction points.

Need an overhaul. Peeling paint a bit rough around the edges. Very comfortable and very reasonably priced.
Great location and staff was friendly and went out of their way.

My booking had women in separate rooms (myself and my friend) , we got laundry done. Laundry was charged PER ITEM. This entailed 3 men pouring our dirty laundry on to the floor infront of us and sniggering as they counted the pieces. This was extremely uncomfortable. Most places charge by weight. I recommend doing laundry elsewhere. Also the people working in the hotel slept outside our rooms playing loud videos on their phones until past midnight.
Room was good, bed was comfortable. Only 1 towel per room even with 2 guests.

Wrongly rated as three star. Even one star is not suitable. Staffs were reluctant to serve. No proper room service Breakfast option was only aaloparatha and bread. That to reluctantly given

Other than that my stay was ok. Staff was very cooperative.
I reached latenight there. I got room 203 but there was constant loud sound of night club nearby till early morning. I cudnt sleep propeely.

Small Room, Reception Area, Entrance
The hotel is Ok. But as the 3 star rating is mentioned, it is not that. Room size is small. There is no facility as provided in 3 stars hotel. Toiletries is not provided. The entrance to the hotel is narrow and requires climbing many steps. Other good hotels can be found for this amount of money.

Breakfast service is super slow...It took almost one hour to get the "Aaloo Paratha" for the breakfast. I saw small cockroaches in the room. There were few people talking loudly at the reception counter at around 11:55 pm on 15th May and since I was given a room opposite the reception counter, it was very much disturbing, I had to ask them to stop the loud talk. This was after my request to give a room with very little surrounding noise. When I told the person at the counter in the morning on 16th May that I will write about the delay in the review, his response was arrogant. The floor in the room was sticky.

Huge stair case to climb , not at all convenient for aged persons.Even though 4 rooms booked, all of them are not identical and lacking on some facilities. Rooms are do small, u cannot dine out together. Hotel is not having any restaurant and for group sitting for dinner , breakfast, one open lobby area , u need to grab few sofa sits. Overall ok for individusl for one night stay within limited budget.
Compact with very basic amenities, food was good.

The Receptionist is so kind and nice. Also, location is good. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Hot shower works.

The room sizes were disproportionately small. Compared to the room the bathrooms were bigger. Due to the small room sizes there was hardly any space to put even a suitcase since the cupboard is also single door
The location was in one of the main sectors of Chandigarh and convenient to travel from this location
