when we stayed at the the Shaw Inn, the property was just near completion of major renovations (as we were told), in preparation of the upcoming season. therefore, things were a new, but also came with their set of problems. for example, the toilet wasn’t functioning properly, the fridge and heater needed to be installed, we had to be moved onto another room etc.

ThailandThe hotel is just not worth what we paid for. This was mentioned as a premium room .The room is not suitable for 2 people, not enough space. The bathroom vanity didnot have enough space to keep things. The exhaust stopped working and inspite of reporting it no one came to fix it. The bidet was leaking as such there was water around the toilet. To top it all we had food poisoning after eating dinner in the hotel. All night we were nauseous and very uncomfortable. When we informed the staff in the morning and requested for medicine, they refused to accept that there was anything wrong with their food.
