Why did they change the colors ?? Used to have its own charm. Now color of the rooms and hotel is an eyesore. The large tables in the restaurant do not fit into a specific style. They have outdoor furniture inside and somehow the decorator was confused with the theme. Wish they had had left it as before with its own charm. Even had a king and queen restroom.

Old hotel with good reputation. Used to the go to hotel in the past. Breakfast has a mix of Indian and continental choices. Fruit salad and fresh juice available. Rooms are reasonably sized. Beds not very comfortable. Ours creaked every time one moved. Gym is ill equipped but the pool is refreshing. The spa badly needs an upgrade if it’s going to be competitive in the hotel space arena.

The place is getting old and starting to look a little worn. We find that a lot of hotels in India have small bathrooms - even the more expensive hotels. This was the same, and bathroom layouts are not well done. Staff at check-in were polite, but not friendly. Taxi booked for us would not fit the baggage for the 4 of us even though we had mentioned it needed to be big enough for all 4 of us + baggage, and a shoulder bag each. Note: 3 of us have baggage small enough to be considered 'carry on' baggage for flights, but I still carried one of those on my knees to the airport.

Food was good in hotel restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and did his job well. Shower in room was hot (often not the case in many Indian hotels). Room service was reasonably prompt. Wasn't much else we really liked. It was a little below expectation, but not too bad.

This is one of the oldest and most luxurious heritage properties in Siliguri, West Bengal. There is a scarcity of staff which we noticed. Other than that everything was absolutely perfect.

Close to a temple with loudspeakers which could be irritating at times during the day, though quiet at night

Though totally renovated, still has feel of a heritage property. Spacious comfy rooms, friendly attentive staff. Good food od and nice swimming pool. A good place to chill before and after Darjeeling excursions.

The approach to the hotel is slightly misleading with two entrances, one being slightly shady.

Run down. Poor service. Parts of it are being renovated so noisy and dusty in places
