There was nothing I didn’t like. I only have a couple of suggestions. I believe it would be nice for the gate down to the beach to be unlocked/open earlier so guest could enjoy sunrise on the beach and later so they could also enjoy the sunset. I also think it would be nice if the pathway down to the beach had a good clean up as there was a fair amount of rubbish along the path… but this did not in anyway reflect the quality of my stay at the property.

I very much enjoyed my time at Skylar. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious with an unobstructed view of the pool and sea. Check in and out was very easy. The pool was lovely, very well maintained. The breakfast was delicious as was dinner from the hotel restaurant. Having direct access to the private beach was a very nice bonus.

No private beach access as mentioned in the site , as per hotel management its due to government restrictions ( we have to walk almost 1km to access the beach ) , but nearby hotels elixer cliff and oceana , even cafes are having direct access to the beach,

The hotel room price was very hight even though we were traveling during the monsoon season, so we couldn't really enjoy the swiming pool or other equipments of the hotel.

The whole stay was great, the breakfast, the staff always smiling and helpfull, the honeymoon suits room view...

No lifts. Lights of outer area are switched off at 10.30pm there is full darkness near swimming pool. Swimming pool water was bit salty. Foot massage for male was done in non ac normal room.wasnt that great experience.

The restaurant needs an upgrade. Lunch was below average.. The property looks dated. Room floor was a bit off putting. The room freshner was heavy and disturbing.

The location is excellent. Though the cliff is looking precarious. For a small property it has all the facilities that one would expect like swimming pool, garden, spa, restaurant etc. Very calm and quiet. Breakfast was pretty good.

Nice clean property with very cordial staff. The price they charge is worth it. Only point is,there is no door stopper or door closure. Please be careful. The doors slam hard.

Everything was great, really! Maybe a minor thing that I missed was a hair conditioner in the bathroom, but that’s it.

Staff is a highlight for this stay, super friendly and helped me with everything. What I liked the most is the views to the beach (sunset there is quite something) and easy access to it!!

Parking is very difficult. If you have a big car its difficult to park in a narrow passage. Its bit hard to communicate with the staffs in English. I suggest the management to give training to them, otherwise lovely staffs.

Very spacious room and great shower pressure. The staffs are very helpful.Swimming pool was clean. Loved the view from our room. Perfect to stay with kids and infants. Will come back again for sure.

Parking facilities are too small and congested. There is nothing available like Children entertainment area such as playgrounds. Lift services aren't available which must be required for elderly people.

The location was good. Access to the beach was easy. Swimming pool is so clear and clean. Rooms are spacious. Hospitality was good.

They dint have live breakfast option... Which is usually provided by rest of the other hotels in the vicinity...of the same price The eggs option was the same every day during our stay.. Water dispensers were also not available in the hotel lobby...

Location on the cliff was good... Beach is rough swimming is not advisable..

Restaurant: We traveled with a baby and they had nothing to eat for baby except Khichadi. It’s the first time I have ever seen that you call a restaurant at 11AM to order something and they say no orders before 1 PM. I understand that it’s difficult to prepare meal early in the morning and late in the night but during the day!! It’s like you have to wake up at certain hours or you will be punished by not giving food. Housekeeping: Called at least 7-8 times to clean the room, NO RESPONSE.

Location was good, beach is accessible, reception staff was cooperative.

- no regard for environment esp in construction over the cliff. - plastic bottles used instead of glass bottles - cheapest plastic furniture even in the premium rooms -overpriced - reception staff was only concerned in doing formalities -very basic breakfast like a hotel -pool is force fit into property

It's location might have been a plus but seeing how it's built with no regard of the cliff and a specific option just hanging over the cliff and recently constructed makes one wonder how the permits were given

We booked the hotel for two nights we really liked the service the location of the hotel is good. breakfast was good especially omelettes. the hotel maintains cleanliness there is everything you need in the room. very beautiful hotel area, lots of flowers, there is a personal stairs to the ocean from the cliff and you can enjoy the ocean in 5 min from hotel. One suggestion breakfast they serve 8:30am-10am, could be earlier start from 7:30 could be perfect.

I received a call from the manager the day before my check-in, stating there were no rooms available and that I needed to find another place to stay, despite having a confirmation email from Booking.com. This is highly unprofessional and raises serious concerns. I would not recommend this place, as even with a confirmed booking, the hotel can cancel less than 24 hours before check-in. Very disappointing experience.

Rooms were basic. Not great amenities to talk about. The bathroom drain clogged a lot. Water bottles not refilled properly. For extra bed, they charge 1.5k but they don't provide cot. Morning breakfast was just okay. There was no live kitchen to serve dosa, omelette, etc. Chicken sausage tasted sweet.

The location was good. Ocean front with stair access to the beach. The helipad cliff beach is nearby. The swimming pool was neat and good.
